Cleveland weather: Cooler weekend on tap in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
Another area of low pressure will zip through Thursday, bringing a few showers with a better, more organized area of rain and a few rumbles (especially south) by afternoon. We'll turn cooler with a lingering shower or two on Friday mixed with sunshine. Temps will remain in the upper 50s Friday.
We'll remain on the cool side for Mother's Day weekend with another round of rain on the way Saturday with lingering showers on Sunday (mixed with sun again). Temps will remain right near 60 for highs.
The trend looks warmer next week with 70s returning to Ohio. An unsettled pattern takes over by the middle of next week with numerous chances for rain and a few storms.

FRIDAY: Some sunshine with a few showers. Upper 50s.
