Maura says she doesn't like to be hugged when she's very upset but in precious seasons the only person she would let hug her when she's upset is Jane. Anyone else notice that?:)
Because jane is the only exception. She's the anti social but when it comes to jane she's not. They really comfortable with each other. Unfortunately they're not end up together as a couple/ lovers.
"I don't really like to be hugged when I'm very upset." And you can tell by Jane's face that there's nothing more in this world that she'd want to do at that moment.
You can see Jane giving Maura a look when Maura says that... Of course we all know and see how much they grope on eachother every time they can, Maura is just upset and doesn't know how to act around Hope.
I don't like being hugged when I'm upset either, except for a very very few close people who I know do it sincerely and not out of a sense of having to do the proper thing in this situation.
I think the writers have done an excellent job over the various seasons to bring in more storylines about the background of the characters. I think I've really seen the growth of the acting talent of the Ms Alexander and Ms Harmon. There have been some strong scenes where they both are letting down their guard and showing great emotions.
+kattrin33 Until they do shit like the last two seasons. They should be stranded on a desert island with nothing left to entertain them but their "creation" running non stop. That is a fitting punishment.

I always thought it was not fun the creators did not make htem hug that much when one is upset. Now I understand a bit better why. (still like watching hugs more, though)
The Carmel Delights, are they the ones with the coconut and chocolate? I haven't had girl scout cookies for years, and I heard some of the cookies have been given different names. The coconut, carmel, and chocolate cookies were my favorites. Thin mints were good to though...

the nearest they come to kissing is when maura meets hope for the first time and jane goes to get frozen yogurt and then jane kisses maura on the side of the mouth for making a move towards reconcilliation
