In today's video, I give you guys my thoughts on Ben Johnson adding 3 new coaches to his coaching staff.
The Chicago Bears have added three notable coaches to Ben Johnson's staff:
Antwaan Randle El - Joining as the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach, Randle El brings a wealth of experience from his time with the Buccaneers, Lions, and a successful NFL playing career.
Al Harris - Set to become the defensive pass game coordinator and defensive backs coach, Harris has a strong background from his time with the Dolphins, Chiefs, and Cowboys.
JT Barrett - Expected to join as the assistant quarterbacks coach, Barrett has been with the Lions and brings valuable insights from his playing and coaching career.
These additions are aimed at bolstering the Bears' offense and defense, leveraging the expertise and experience of these well-respected coaches.

Randall El is back home. A Pro’s Pro. One of my all time favorite players.

@ I thought they were the same guy at first. “Our” Al Harris is 68 years old now. He was quite a player. No mention on relation yet.
I’ve been an outlier as one of the few skeptical of the Ben Johnson hire not as OC but as a head coach but I will say I am very surprised and like all three of these selections. Very creative and shows loyalty and also out of the box with JT Barrett. Nice.
Bears vs Lions next season is going to be interesting to watch lol

As a long suffering Lions fan, this is all best case scenario stuff, we want our staff to succeed and grow and level up the rest of the league. Further evidence that Dan and Brad and Chris and Sheila are an extremely effective team and will continue to be. Happy to see Lions staff sharing their love, determination and organizational health with other cities.
When Amin St.Brown become a free agent Detroit better hope they still good because he will follow Ben as well.
Much competition now for hiring a coaching staff. Kudos to Johnson for being proactive and getting right to work.

Antwaan Randall el a good dude I use to go to his football camp as a kid he a Illinois high school sports legend
On the 3 new coaching hires: They all were solid, if not stars, at their respective positions AS PLAYERS! Randall-El: QB at Indiana; WR for the Steelers; JT Barrett: One of the best ever to play QB at Ohio State; Al Harris: He gave the Bears fits playing DB for the Packers. This will go a long way toward players looking up to coaches WITH RESPECT.
was thinking the same thing. I feel players respect a coach even more if he was a former player.
Every time since the Bears hired Johnson, these Detroit podcasts have been crying like babies. Giving Ben new nicknames like "Traitor", Benedict, and even Benedick!!!!!!! S.TF.U. AND GET BACK TO YOUR PITY PARTY!!! L.M.A.O!!!!!!

@@electric8668 i am not saying that at all. They just dont have to wait on the minority candidates. Thats all. These guys are the best for these jobs determined by Ben J and they can move quickly since they don't have to wait. The DC, Oc, and STC roles will take longer to hire.
