Ciao, Antonio! Great to hear from you and to read your comments. Yeah, I personally interviewed your father in 2007 in North Hollywood (I actually interviewed four stars of '70s Italian cinema that same day, back-to-back-to-back-to-back!). Was great to meet him....
@@toughandgritty I'm please you had the opportunity to meet and interview him when he still had (mental) capacity in 2007. He was an extraordinarily intelligent (with little " classical education "; barley graduated high school at New Utrecht in Brooklyn, Ny) Man, primarily by way of his own intellectual curiosity. He was also a very kind man z one that did not seek fame, rather avoided it. Ultimately, he wanted pursue movies and projects that were rarely afforded to him; one that he truly believed in, not those of necessity to "earn a paycheck". He cherished his own work in the Appolsa more than any other film, not because Marlon Brando was the lead, because of his influence in revising the script while shooting. Also his own performance in the film. Best- Antonio Saxon
