Over joyed to have my tc v1 kit in the mail and on the way. Thank you for the crystal clear and easy kit you put out. Proud to be part of the beginning of you empire building.
Man I forgot this kit was coming when I started my Gshot last month!! I will ABSOLUTELY get one of these kits for my trx4 after I finish this gspeed. I have a tc-v1 in my cart right now but don't want my wife too mad at me LOL. Very cool what you have put together!
When will You have more TC1 V1 Kits ready for sale ? , This makes building a TRX4 based LCG crawler so easy , Really want to get one ASAP , Look forward to more videos :)
We will be doing another run of TC-V1 kits at the end of this month. For release dates and more info follow us on Instagram and join the Facebook Group. Links in the description :) Thanks for looking!
Chassis layout looks great! I am not a fan of trx4 axles so I will wait for the Axial stuff and might consider building the capra version for my c3. Are you planning to make the skid angle more aggressive for those ? I would also be interested in a c1 based on ar44 or ar45 axles. 6x6 are pretty lame and seem like a small niche. I would not wast my time designing one of those. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with
Thanks for the nice comments. We have been testing for several months and the skid angle on the prototypes seems like a really good compromise between angle/clearance and driveshaft angle. We are still in beta testing for the Axial based chassis. If we get enough demand for a C1 we'll definitely explore that 👍👍👍
Why the 3 dislikes. What's to dislike. If you say pricing. Thats dumb. Get gspeed or any other rig. By time you buy what you nees to finish that and get it to this would be more money. Trust me I just bought one. With I seen this set up first
Either one will work in 313mm wheelbase. They are the same vehicle. If you use one with the selectable locking diffs you would want to put spools in the diffs. Other than that everything will fit no problem
hello, what suspensions are used as standard on this frame ??? at the rear these suspensions are very sloped, and was it designed that way for some reason ???
The shocks you see are Traxxas GTS shocks from a TRX4. The rear shocks are angled to allow more articulation. The optimum chassis setup is full droop with light springs.
The stock transmission isn't needed. This kit comes with a primary drive and a transfer case. All you need are axles, links, driveshafts and shocks from a donor TRX4
@Juan Ortiz We appreciate the support :) Make sure to join the Facebook group so you'll know when the kit is released. Links in the description above 👍👍
@@NegativeGRCI just bought one and that gave me pause because I live and will compete in the desert, where there sand etc(beta tested). I also had another question what would I need to build another TRX4 from the leftover parts? Sorry for long question but would be very helpful.
@@devingable8467 We are in the SW desert of Idaho so we have sand and all that here too. I wouldn't be too concerned about it unless you are having to spin your tires like crazy in the sand. We never have mud at our comps so I would just be careful to not apply too much throttle in those areas. The plastic spur gear is pretty forgiving but just be mindful that you have an open spur. Lots of the other well known flat rail crawlers have open spur gears.
100% dependent on your setup. You can achieve 27% overdrive with diff gears in TRX4 axles. Anything above 10-15% doesn't do much anyway. I opted for a light and compact transfer case instead of built in overdrive.
@@NegativeGRC Yes I know that but we like around 50% fir a competitive c2 rig I really like your chassis I'm thinking about using the GTH transfer case with overdrive but with that extra expense I should just go with the Gspeed GTH v3 and the GTH forward motor mount with 30% overdrive right around 360.00 o well il get it figured out thanks and very nice chassis

Late to the game, but WOW! A comprehensive kit! What a "novel" idea. And WITH hardware? Just WOW! About time. Piecing together a kit sucks.

What length servo horn do you recommend? Thought I seen something about a 25mm? Or will 24mm work?
25mm center to center is preferred but you can try the 24 and see how it works.

Is there a transfer case that has DIG function that will fit this kit
