He meets dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and many other non-human races in the wastelands. Makoto manages to show promise in the use of magic and fighting, which he wouldn't have been able to do in his former world. He has numerous encounters, but will he be able to survive this new world? I must say that after Naval's sacrifice, I would expect Hibiki not only be mad at Io but really hating Tomoki as after all that boasting he did about being level 600 he ran away at the first opportunity he had once his divinity was gone.
he bailed because his immortality blessing was turned off, most of his wins are likely because of his bloated base stats plus the fact he can't be killed except on a New Moon or during the Day, once his cheats were turned off his was scared of the idea of a fight he could actually die in. Tomoki is treating his "Hero" responsibilities like a video game, his Charm ability means almost everyone automatically likes him like a main character in a video game, plus his night immortality mean he gets infinite restarts, once things got more real he couldn't handle it.
Small spoiler, she holds a DEEP grudge vs Io cus of this, and she dislikes Tomoki but can't do anything about it until war ends cus both being heroes
I doubt it'll come to that, she'll have to deal with Tomoki before it ends. If you're reading the Webnovel, the guy is paying less attention to the war and more attention to experimenting with his charm power just so he can get into Tomoe's pants Which isn't going to work anyways
@@emperorpalpatine2957 not to mention he is slowly, but surely dying
The best side characters make the best sacrifices. May Naval live on in the memories of her friends. 😢🎉
Honestly, not a fan of Hibiki but I loved Naval. 😭
Hell yeah it reminds me of the count and his old servant from grandcrest war
Oh. She decided to go out in a Literal blaze of glory...
Now I can hear the song in the back of my head, after seeing that scene. Your far from wrong though
Just like Vegeta (DBZ) and Pedro (One Piece).
We all have a reason to fight, and to live. She once fought for her pride, and entertainment. She found anew purpose among her friends. She gave her life, for the ones who gave her anew purpose to fight. She died, but won't be forgotten by those who cared for her
It’s an anime.

naval a true warrior to the last stand and a novel friend
Now we need to wait a week until we get back to the present
What a waste. I'll remember her. Although she appeared for 3 episodes, Naval was a real one. I liked her character and wanted to see more.
SPOILER in the comments ⤵️
@@community8172 I looked at wiki and confirmed her death.
What sucks is the guy lives as well
@@Stone_Horn Oh now it's sucks.
Haven't watched any of the new season but you see a bit more of her in the LN I think, she really isn't sold on Hibiki at first but she eventually helps her get over killing so she can fight an all that. Granted though with different perspectives you get I still can't get over how much Hibiki leans into a typical hero adventure and jumps head first into a war that isn't hers, and this event makes her super biased against demons. It's kinda more of a bummer the MC can end the war overnight but when the thought comes to him the demons seem too proud to take that chance, though the LN hasn't updated in forever, so who knows how's it's going to go.
I read the webnovel... All of it, and it has been on hiatus for over Two years. I like the first anime but man I wish the autor will just finish the final arc
I like Hibiki and Tomoki. They are the most well-written characters but they represent two extremes: selflessness and selfishness. Both of them have their flaws which Makoto kind of balances with his normal, but growing, personality.
I also like how both of them are wrong in their decision to fight Io. Tomoki is leaving because he doesn't want to die, but is willing to let everyone else die. Hibiki stays but doesn't understand her importance and the threat she's facing, and naively engages.
Tbh their decisions really define who they are as characters and foreshadow a lot of the choices they make later.
*SPECTACULAR!!! 100/100!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩*
Ela era uma boa personagem não merecia morrer tão sedo na obra🥺🥺
best girl barely had any screen time and yet she already died
Awesome TSUKIMICHI Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 Video.
Not sure if it’s shown in the anime, but it really ticked me off when she too was affected by Tomoki’s demonic eyes and took his side even though he was being super rude and arrogant to Hibiki, completely overriding friendship and logic. That’s why I couldn’t feel too much at her death since it felt like nobody was truly on Hibiki’s side while the goddess’s influence exist.
It was left out of the anime. Instead, Tomoki was just being rude to her to hide his insecurities.
@@GenerationZ313 I see. It’s good that they cut that out. It made all the power of friendship stuff on Hibiki’s side a terrible joke.
I mean his eye already overrides logic and friendship so that's a totally logic outcome. It ain't a matter of friendship
@@JoJoboiWav I'm talking about logic to the character, not to the audience ofc. For stories nowadays anything goes and if you can dig it thus it's logical by your book. And it is a matter of the friendship failing in front of plot.
@@MrCLightningHibiki's bonds technically are a joke still since she too has a charm power but it's more subtle.
I hope this will get a season 3, 12 episodes isnt enough
Season 2 will be 2 cours/24 episodes. It's why the first 3 episodes have been recounting what should've been in Season 1.
@@SeryhfI was a little annoyed that these two heroes got a whole episode to themselves since they show up for like. But still better than solo leveling which look like 2.5 for the first chapter
@@BigFootTheRealOne Solo Leveling is great so far but I don’t like the cliffhangers after every episode. 😂
Valhalla awaits, Naval.
Naval was a true hero compared to the coward puppet and Hibiki that truly was a wasted sacrifice.
Awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The VA for Naval is so sweet and awesome. You have no idea what i'm talking about. Just thumbs up my comment.
she was a real one
a real dunzeldorf
I see she's a stand user as well.
Let her rock it world
Megumi: EXPLOSIONNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!
wait… I died for nothing
her death allowed her allies to escape the battle without suffering any serious(physical) harm.
Honestly, would be better if she had more screentime than like 10 minutes..
anyone know what the song that starts to play at 0:30 is called? To be precise, I am unsure if its the same song, but its a little before this video when Naval tells the mage to use the artifact and the music in the background was so obvious she was going to die
I have the same question! Does anybody know that song?
I don't feel bad for Hibiki since anyone who read the novel knows how absolutely disgusting she is as a person. But the way Navel died was beautiful even if I didn't agree with her way of life or motives I'll acknowledge how honorably she died and the tremendous will power and resolve she showed near the end. Even though she was influenced by Hibiki's charisma.
Yeah ❤
Good Episode 😮
Are they apart of the hero party with the corrupt hero with the blue and purple eyes? Or are they on a different side or alliance? Trying to tell who is on the side with mc
Exploooooosion
I hope she comes back somehow
hopefully their sacrifice wasn't in vain
Nope, the guy is alive, no big damage, also he is nice guy
@@rafaelsantos-nl9jdjust wrong side
Filler, nice death scene very sad, but where's the mc we grew to love? Is he even actually in this season? Lol
He is, the last two episodes were just to introduce the other heroes who were summoned by the goddess. The focus switches back to him near the end of episode 3.
This is not filler.
As I recall, these characters were VERY briefly introduced in season 1 and this is part of the B-plot leading up to an inevitable encounter with the MC. Although I might be confusing the plot of Tsukimichi with 'So I'm a Spider, So What?'
this isnt filler. its just not focused on makoto, but its vital for the later parts of the story. this is setup that should've happened during S1.
Immediate spoilers for those who cant watch the new episode the day it comes out
Wait if it’s a naval battle, why are they on land

Weird that they are now going slightly backwards in the story
am i the only one that doesn't care about these other heroes? makato deadass aint even been in the last two episodes
I like the two heroes. All three humans are vastly different and play with each other quite well.
@@brandonmorris3746 I'm sure they have their merits but I can't bring myself to care about them at all
They're spending more time on Hibiki because she's a bit more important. Also Makoto isn't a Human, he's a Hyuman by blood.

Is this anime any good? ( Havent watched it) alot of fighting and awesome sound track? Let me know someone
First season is.
This season seems to be about the MC'S normie b quest acquaintances
It's good, the series is expanding its world in this second season.
It's good in my opinion, though given that it's based on a light novel, there is some content that unfortunately got cut or rearranged in a way that messes with the pacing of the show.
@@saltysmokeIt's called world-building
oof i skipped these side character episodes lol
Hm i dont like hibiki
Her opinion that the best way to stop the war is that the demons should surrender and let themselves become enslaved because they are a minority(minority=terrorist in her opinion) and that the hyumans are in the right because they are in the majority is annoying
All they want is better land without snow and to live without getting discriminated while the hyumans are just hyumans supremacist (because of that bug goddess)
And it doesn't get any better for the demons.
Yeah Hibiki is kind of a control freak where she can't stand it when things aren't under her control. I'm sure she knows that what she wants with the demons likely won't come to pass. She is a firm believer in the Meritocracy and thinks that eventually the demons will earn their place and freedom much like how the Demi-humans have, but the demi-humans still face heavy discrimination. Webnovel spoilers below
I don't think it'll come to this though, the Limia Kingdom was previously nearly crippled by a sneak attack by the demons alongside Sophia and Lancer whom basically reduced the city to rubble. So I doubt It'll come to the point where the kingdom can actually deal with the demons to the point the demons get enslaved. In my opinion it's more likely that before Hibiki can see to it The Kingdom will be called towards the Almos kingdom to help them with putting down Patrick Rembrandt's rebellion of Declaring Tsige's independence as a City State. The Goddess's main target is Makoto, so we can only expect that he'll get involved and send Limia packing. Hibiki will probably surrender at that time for the sake of the kingdom.
Still think her name is better as Navarre...
Spoiler alert. After this battle, based on the webnovel, Hibiki does develop a prejudice towards demons. It would make sense if she just hates io, but she's pretty two faced when she later criticize Makoto for his prejudice towards hyumans(webnovel spelling) and his lack of awareness of that prejudice. She'll criticize Makoto, but she won't criticize her hyuman allies for their prejudices because she still needs to use them. I just don't like her.
2 episodes of stuff that could’ve aired in season 1 🙄
Or not spent an entire episode on for side characters that barely show up in the series
i feel like the 2nd episode should've shown during s1. and this should've been the intro to s2.
@@BigFootTheRealOne tell me you never read the novel, without telling me you never read the novel.
those 2 heroes are absurdly important to the story.
Saw this coming almost immediately. For a side character she was getting way too much attention. Dead giveaway.
Pun fully intended.
Why are they bothering to shoehorn in their other parties? Just focus on the the main group and their interaction with these people.
because they ae important characters to the overall story. as well as world building, showing that the world doesnt circle around the MC. this is setup that will be of massive importance later on.
So his second phase was turning "BLACK"????
Can we have top 10 boruto fights (episodes 201-293)
Episode 3 was even more boring than episode 2. Episode 4 will be the animes last chance before i decide to drop it.
Ok...cool. good to know ig
🧠n't?
Do you see it is a two-cours anime right? There are plenty of time fir them to adopt the story without cutting and skipping anything. I saw people like yourself complaining about this but honestly you shouldn't be unfair.
So, you want a cookie or?
Sadly her death was more useless than chaoz against Nappa 😂
Shots fired!
yes but also no. her death is there to force the heroine to change. as she was too naive. its also what sets up her encounter with mio, and then makoto later on. its also to show the start of the hero's descent into debauchery and madness.
you can see this as an important trigger for hibiki to become who she is by the end of the story.
