Exploring Ammoudia Beach In Parga - Part 1: Paradise In Greece!

Ammoudia is a small town on the coast in the region of Preveza. It’s only 17km away from Parga. The town has several hotels and villas for renting and a large and wide sandy beach. Along the beach is located the delta of the famous Acheron river.
Ammoudia beach is sandy with very long shallow. Around Parga are mostly pebble beaches, thus Ammoudia is a real refreshment, especially for families with small children for whom the shallow at this beach is a paradise.
On the left side of the beach there is plenty of natural shade, which is usually used by campers.
The beach is long and wide enough that there is room and space for a relaxing stay for all visitors, for those who use the sunbeds as well as for those who have their own equipment. Several cafes offer sunbeds and a parasols. This beach doesn’t have a turquoise color of the sea, but the sea is clear and clean and the sand is very fine. The beach is sometimes windy, while the sunsets are beautiful. There is enough space for parking along the beach.
Амудија је мали град на обали у региону Превеза. Удаљен је само 17 км од Парге. Град има неколико хотела и вила за изнајмљивање и велику и широку пешчану плажу. Дуж плаже налази се делта чувене реке Ахерон.
Плажа Амудија је пешчана са веома дугачким плићаком. Око Парге су углавном шљунчане плаже, па је Амудија право освежење, посебно за породице са малом децом за које је плитко на овој плажи прави рај.
Са леве стране плаже има доста природног хлада, који обично користе камписти.
Плажа је довољно дуга и широка да има места и простора за опуштајући боравак за све посетиоце, како за оне који користе лежаљке, тако и за оне који имају своју опрему. Неколико кафића нуди лежаљке и сунцобране. Ова плажа нема тиркизну боју мора, али је море чисто и чисто, а песак је веома фин. Плажа је понекад ветровита, док су заласци сунца прелепи. Уз плажу има довољно места за паркинг.

I wish we had nice beaches like this in my area. Honestly they are mostly cold and the water isn't as clear, but they are still enjoyable. This beach you are showing looks amazing and so does the area. Nice one South Avangarda! Thank you for showing us around.

It's great to hear that the water is crystal clear and the sand is clean and perfect for small children to play on. Watching the sunset must be breathtaking, and being able to park right by the beach is a huge plus. The river is beautiful too.
Your video reminded me of when my family from Oregon went on vacation to visit me in San Diego, Ca. through the 60s -80s, memories of fun activities like playing volleyball, flying kites, and throwing frisbees on the sparkling white sandy beach. In Oregon, one has to plan and reserve motels, cottages, and hotels months in advance; it may seem like a hassle, but it's worth it when you get to stay right by the beach and enjoy a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, my brother got sunburned taking off his shirt to protect his baby nephew Christopher, our cameraman. Tea tree oil, olive oil, and body cream helped relieve the pain.
