@@3n444 oh it is that deep cus sophie didn't die for yall to ruin hyperpop's reputation. Seriously, it's quite profound and significant, because Sophie, as an iconic figure in the music world, didn't pass away for people to undermine the essence of hyperpop. Sophie's contributions to music, especially within the hyperpop genre, were groundbreaking and revolutionary. Sophie fearlessly pushed boundaries, challenging conventions, and embracing innovation in sound and expression.
Now, it feels like there's a risk of losing sight of what hyperpop stands for. It's not just about catchy beats or superficial trends; it's about artistic freedom, self-expression, and inclusivity. Hyperpop emerged as a platform for marginalized voices to be heard and celebrated. It's about defying norms, embracing individuality, and creating something entirely new.
So, when we see actions or attitudes that seem to compromise the integrity of hyperpop, it's disheartening. It's like losing sight of the vision that Sophie and others worked so hard to bring to life. We owe it to them to uphold the values of creativity, authenticity, and diversity within the hyperpop community.
Let's remember Sophie's legacy and honor it by continuing to push the boundaries of music, embracing experimentation, and staying true to the spirit of hyperpop.

@@yxmelody Sophie was not just a hyperpop pioneer; she was a visionary who reshaped the contours of the genre with groundbreaking hits like "Faceshopping" and "Ponyboy." Her music was a bold declaration of artistry, a fusion of avant-garde soundscapes and pop sensibilities that challenged the norms. Yet, after her Death In late January of 2021, there's been a palpable shift. It seems like the essence of what made hyperpop so distinctively Sophie has been diluted, as if the industry and some artists have taken the sound she so meticulously crafted and twisted it into something unrecognizable. Personally I'd put this song in the Scene-Pop Category so it's not mistaken as hyperpop people know and love.
