Fender Jag -> boss compressor pedal -> Marshall AVT50 clean channel with heavy gain (around 3 o'clock or even full, can't really remember) Recorded on FL studio with a Shure sm57 and mixed slightly to boost my recorded guitar track (~50% panned to the left) while lowering corresponding frequencies in the original track (~50% panned to the right channel) Not much trickery, Some of these covers just sound better than they have any right to ahaha Might've been the mic sitting at a perfect distance from the amp or the room was sounding good that day
If you put the play back to .75x speed it’s super easy to figure out. A-D-F#-C# is the intro/verse Chorus is Amaj -Dmaj7. The slowed down speed will help you out with twinkly guitar stuff
