Hi Sameer, my _bloggieDbContext object is giving null reference issue. I have followed all 4 steps added BloggieDbContext object options in BloggieDbCotext.cs constructor, added connection string to appsetting.json, registered DbContext into Program.cs and using constructor injection in controller class, still I am getting null reference. I have also installed 2 mentioned packages in the video.
The property 'BlogPostModel.Tags' could not be mapped because it is of type 'ICollection', which is not a supported primitive type or a valid entity type. Either explicitly map this property, or ignore it using the '[NotMapped]' attribute or by using 'EntityTypeBuilder.Ignore' in 'OnModelCreating' I'm getting this error in migration

Great video Sameer, honestly one of the best MVC tutorials I've ever seen.
I'm confused about one bit, is this not a web API? I'm struggling to differentiate between a web api and mvc app after this video since all the steps you've taken up until rendering a view, I've done before on my web API app. What makes a Web API different to your current project, mainly the controller/models bit since I've also used entity framework and SQL db and it looks the exact same as your app (minus rendering a view of course)

This is not Web API,
Sure, the steps are somewhat similar, as the main logic sits in the controller and the controller does all the data gathering from services and repositories but MVC is different as it also has the view component where as in a web api its just a over the web data service giving json or xml data back
