Stevenson wouldn't have been much of a pro heavyweight. Too straight up...I couldn't see him beating Earnie Shavers, Ken Norton, or Ron Lyle. They'd have beaten the motor off him....

@P T: There really is no way to know for sure if Stevenson really would have fared well against world class pros, but Stevenson lost enough locally against Cuban opposition and 2 out of 3 against Vysotsky that it's safe to say that he wouldn't have fared well against th best of th 70s pro opposition.
