Nice discussion with lots of food for thought ! As Phil says cruisers load boats. If you don’t want to carry all the things you need to enjoy cruising it’s going to be a boring time out there. We are loaded on our performance cat. Just the way it is . I will not be offloading the dive compressor or dive gear and underwater cameras etc as that’s why I’m out here 🤣 then you need to fix your boat in exotic places… if you are a credit card captain that’s fine you can just get your builder to fly out a team with a replacement part in a private jet and repair it while you sip cocktails but that not the majority of cruisers …
Thank you Mike. During the last Annapolis Boat show we showed three of our customers' Balance cats, and had to spend hours boxing up all of the stuff they had on them. I mean it was so much stuff! I did not bother to weigh the things that came off each one, but it was significant.
