Well Barry I just want to let you know that I've been doing sous vide cooking for about 20 plus years and it's good fun and if you do poached eggs at 63 Celsius for 45 minutes they are epic yes a slightly runnier than normal but he's so delicious on fresh toast salty butter it's the best but you can do thousands of things in this sous vide machine and you can go from a Sunday lunch to desserts there is so much you can do in it it's one of the best universal gadgets for a kitchen

    Thoughts while watching...
For the sous vide, another cool use with eggs is using it to pasteurize your own. Great for homemade ice creams, salad dressings, nogs, etc. It also makes soft boiled a LOT easier.
Chicken breast is also great in sous vide. Because it can hold precise temperature for so long, you can safely cook chicken to lower temperatures than the usually recommended 165-170F. Chicken cooked at 145F (for about 4 hours if I remember correctly) is absolutely phenomenal.
Serious Eats has a great guide on various times and temps sous vide chicken.
Another cool (literally this time) use for sous vide is thawing meats, particularly large chunks. Just stick it in the sous vide with cold water and turn the circulation on with no heat or the lowest possible. I can thaw a large turkey within half a day without having to waste water running on it from the faucet the whole time.
On the blender, you probably don't need near that much soap. I have a VitaMix (different brand of blender. All the features like soup, frozen desserts, self cleaning, etc were pioneered by them.) and even used to work for the company. They basically told us not to use more than a couple drops of soap when cleaning it.
The tamper (which Mr Lewis referred to as a "masher") is great because they're designed to never touch the blade if the lid is on. (Never EVER use it with the lid off.) It's pretty much a necessity for ice creams and nut butters.
(Blend-Tec famously disparaged the tamper, claiming they didn't need it. However, they also released a special "twister" container just for things like that.)
Speaking of VitaMix, btw, I'd suggest looking up their "tortilla soup" recipe and trying that.

As far as air fryer goes, I've got a Dreo Chefmaker. It doesn't use 'AI' nonsense. Instead, it uses a temperature probe to cook foods to temperature. Stick it in your chicken, pick the 'chicken' program, and it'll cook the chicken to the perfect temperature. Same for a joint of beef.

The Coffee machine sounds expensive. But does a lot of things to justify it. A good grinder can be quite expensive, plus all the other features make it very useful. Not sure about coffee quality, but given what else it does i don't think it not being the best coffee for a 1000$ machine would be an issue.

17:09 a cool trick to get air out of bags is to leave a tiny spot open an submerge the bag into the sink full of water and the water pushes the air out. Hope that makes sense lol

I know how I could fit this Sous Vide bat into my life: Developing color films. I always thought the sticks weren't the best thing for me when doing it, so the bath could be better in keeping my chemistry warm, especially because it is deeper and I don't want to fiddle around with plastic tubs for it. So maybe I'll buy one soon. Btw, this thing fits in the gastronorm standards, I believe it is 2/3gn, so you can get smaller containers to stack inside and use it as a bain marie. That's also the reason why the lid is so tight. They are all like that, except the ones jut loosely placed on top.
29:05 Commercial machines have that too. Usually with a tiny fridge to the side where a milk carton sits with a hole to put the hose through.

He did a livestream the other day continuously mentioning lack of money yet just what he received in tips during that livestream was more than many people receive to live on in a week. Looking at his financials although his turnover has gone down a bit over the last 12 months he is still making considerably more than most people in the UK do which makes it unclear why he has resorted to churning out reuploads.

You should be ashamed commenting something so absolutely vile & unnecessary. These products DO incorporate AI, and it should have been fairly obvious that there isn’t a product that lights up with RBG lights as if it was a freaking PC that cooks food. Telling someone they are an awful creator isn’t beneficial for anyone whatsoever & you could have given constructive criticism/feedback if what they created wasn’t up to your standards. You can always block the creator, unsubscribe from their channel, or… don’t watch their videos. I cannot believe there are people so rude for absolutely no reason. Talking about “you should be ashamed”.. pot is calling the kettle black.
