Julian makes nice quality products. I own one of their plein air easels.
I've been expanding my pastel collection and am considering using stackable snap together boxes like Emma Colbert (a yt pastel artist) it seems very functional but I keep hesitating.🤔 I really love wooden boxes and storage. I'm not sure I can give up the luxurious feel of old world storage for something made of plastic. 🤷‍♀️

ooh I was think about the easel! I’ve never had one! I just found her video with her storage & cleaning her entire collection! W🤩W! it’s gorgeous! I wish they made wooden stacking boxes like that! I try to keep as much plastic out of my space as I can! it’s so difficult I agree! 🤗✨⛲️🎁📦

Julian's French easel is very nice quality. My only issue with it for longer walks is the largest one is very heavy. I recommend the small one or a small pochade box. Recently I've been changing to more light weight plein air set-up. I'm thinking about building the travel easel pattern from James Gurney.
It's a small wooden topper with magnets for a metal watercolor tin and is attached to a tripod base. It seems like a good weight for my shoulder. 🖌️👩‍🎨🎨🖼️
