Hammer was just so much ahead of his time. He was legendary and sadly just used as a pawn to make the execs rich and make rap kid friendly so their parents would be more open to rap. They made him wear those parachute pants and sequins then made vanilla ice wear them too, which parents and teens more open to rap

@VictoriaLove Suge put the money up for Hammer during this time tho. The funky headhunter album is a Death Row project. As well as Deion Sanders, he was also signed to Death Row but being in the NFL he couldn't rep Death Row so Suge had him under different imprints.
