On the subject of physical media, I think a big issue (which is already a problem in some places) is that in a lot of cases you don't own the digital version. It's essentially a rental that is available for as long as the particualr store front wants it to be available for.
This is the second time in recent memory I've heard about people cutting what they want from a frozen pizza and only cooking that. It makes a lot of sense, and yet it just feels wrong.
I completely agree with Connor’s take. Black Myth’s combat is mid af and the last two chapters, maybe even the last three, are complete slogs. I have to check out Stellar Blade.
For NieR Automata, the endings you really want to do are A-E. Most of the others are joke endings, besides Z which is separate from the main story, and requires a lot. I beat the game with all the main endings in around 27 hours. The second and third playthrough are different than the first, which makes the endings easier to want to play. Ending C and D are reached through a choice you have to make at the end of the third playthrough, and you can go back with chapter select to choose the other option. The last ending is played through the credits. I would highly recommend that y’all play this game because I think it has the best story ever in gaming, with great side quests as well.
while i agree that less casual gamers with more interest in exclusivity will keep buying ps consoles, but i am curious as to what the general consumer decides. also, nick if you’re craving more metroid i recommend the remake of 2 they did on 3ds, im playing it rn, and its rly good

I also would recommend NieR Replicant, because I think it’s just as good of a story as Automata.
