    Could you tell me how wide you cut your fabric strips? Love This and about to make one! Also how much rope was needed.

      Hi, Marcia! So glad you like this project! We used ribbons that were about 1.5 - 2.5 inches wide and cut strips of fabric that were about the same width... maybe 1.5 - 2 inches. Both ribbons and fabric strips were cut at about 6-8 inches long with dove tail ends.
      Dollar Tree has two different thicknesses of their nautical rope. So the number of bundles you need may be different depending on what you are using. I think it took 3 bundles of the thicker rope, but I would suggest getting at least 4 bundles to ensure you have enough to complete the star shape.
