It did! It was bizarre how dead it felt! The ship was our oyster 🦪
I was on the cruise right before this one, and it was more crowded. I should have booked this one instead. LOL!
I was just off the Celebration with my hubby and it was ridiculously packed and turned me off of Carnival, then I received a free Casino cruise, so I thought I’ll give them one more try, thank goodness I did, because it totally made up for the Celebration and redeemed my faith in Carnival!
I’m sorry yours was so crowded, It really can make or break a cruise:(

The CLOSEST secured garage parking to the Cruise Ships
We used the parking garage close to the ship! It was well organized and I was able to park on the first floor.
As far as hotels! I used my IHG points and we stayed for free at the Holiday Inn & Suites on Seawall Blvd, next to the Spot Restaurant and close to Pleasure Pier and only a few minutes from the cruise port! ( I could see it from my hotel)
Curious about your experience on the celebration. I have a cruise this fall on it and you're kinda bumming me out about it 😂😂
I’m sorry😢 ! I loved the boat and the size, but, size inevitably brings more peeps.. It just felt crowded to me. I went July 30, 23 with my hubby. (Vlog coming soon) There were significant lines for pizza and the deli, at all times of the day and Guy’s Burger Joint. Buffet was hard to find a seat. We opted in for room service more than usual, just to not have to hunt for seats. We had an obnoxious neighbor who played loud music on his balcony and yelled to other cabin mates. Out of all the cruises we’ve taken, it was just one thing after another. People sitting on the stairs and not moving. A fight in the buffet one afternoon, which rerouted us to another side of ship to eat.
Positives - Beautiful ship, great staff, love the rooms and decor. It also felt spacious, clean and very deliberately detailed.
Relax, I think it was just an anomaly and you’re going to have a fantastical vacay!
