It's a well-balanced team that everyone can get early on to learn the game. None of them are bad and can all be used later on, so it's not a waste to build them.
Finally someone that makes a video that every raid player can benefit from. Thank you so much for this. Ash and the other guys show us level 60 champions we may never get especially early on into the game.

This is nice man you always see content creators using the most hectic champs but here is a great example of what can be done f2p in a timely fashion when built well
It's a team everyone can get quickly, and helps you learn speed tuning, hero builds, and team synergy before building more advanced teams.

Yes, the hero's all have a purpose, and can fit in many teams to help progress. These are easy to get and build, which allows new players to save resources until they understand the game and need them.
I am gretaly appreciative of the cointent. I saw your build of Soulbond bowyer, as farmer, and I figure I can probably just try lifesteal gear, speed boots, attack % chest, and maybe some other gloves. If I'm just wanting damage, I don't need accuracy. Back to work. I doubt I'll be able to get really high crit damage.

I actually was just starting back in June to August but I had 10 subs and 1 friend that watched all my streams. Getting Arbiter in Feb is what blew up the channel and now people can see it is possible to play this game without any so called game changers.
Man I love this video, this is really helpful for those of us starting out and trying to put together our first team. But you do the one thing that all content creators do, and you have them in high level artifacts. I need to see this type of team in the artifacts we actually start the game using. The artifacts that we can actually farm through the campaigns. Artifacts without sub stats, I need to see the common and uncommon levels.We get one set of artifacts for the starting champions, but man I need to know how to gear those other champions in beginning gear.
Lifesteal set from 4 day log in for kael. Shield set from missions for beating fire knight for spirithost. Speed set from starting tournament for diabolist or apothecary if you pull him. Attack set from beginning for war maiden once you get lifesteal and take it off kael. Hp set from stage 2 for Valerie. That's the start. My videos go all the way back to day 40 of this account, but the sound is bad because I just started the channel at that time.
You're already a few weeks in so the advice might not be that applicable, but what I did was farm artifacts in campaign brutal.
Speed, accuracy and lifesteal are the big ones, but you can farm attack, hp and defense if you want. You get less xp than stage 12 (about 80% if you're farming speed gear) but since you're getting artifacts and filling out faction guardians or food, I don't think it's a waste.
You want flat speed on boots, hp%, atk%, def% on chest (depending on the champ) and hp%, def%, atk%, crit%, crit dmg% on gloves (again depending on champ). For weapon, helmet and shield, you just want a 5-star one.
But speed is the big set you want to be farming. In the beginning, it doesn't seem like a big deal, but as you progress, stuff gets faster and faster until you're not going first anymore and you just die. Speed is 100% most important stat in this game.
Great video. Some things to consider, if you’re starting with Deacon from the code, you won’t need Diabolist. Sort of. (She’s easier to book, or course)
This is basically a team for everyone, just in case a code is ended or your pulls suck. It's also meant to teach new players how to build a team and win, before investing hard to aquire resources on heros. It's an anyone can do this team.

Just starting out a year after this is made. I have Alure and Tayrel from referral. Is this video still relevant / would you change any advice? :)
The reason this team works is because it has the basics all in one team. It is also farmable for skills and does not waste valuable books and resources while you learn the game. Epic and leggo books are very rare. All these heroes are usable later on as well, regardless of what heroes you build later. This team will always be relevant for new players. Once you understand the game better, then go all in on higher tier champs. You can always level and not book heroes until you know what you want to do while building these 5.

Hey, thanks for the useful video, gives a nice early goal, just started playing the game sadly i picked Elhain at the start because i didnt look up the game before starting, got Artak for loging in for 7 days and got Tallia from a start game code thingy, am just wondering if you would suggest any of these champions in the team or would i be better not ?
Really depends on who else you pulled. These 5 are good because they don't require a lot of resources to build and can be farmed for extra copies to get skill books (except your starter) which are the most valuable resource in the game. They also have all the skills needed to move forward early game. Artak is a very good hero, and Tallia is OK but not amazing. Look at the heros you have and try to get an attack up, defense down, and turn meter increase hero. Other than that, who you pick won't matter too much early on. If you are unsure, just do not book any skills until you know that you want to move forward with a hero.
Would you replace any of these champs with Loki on a new account?
@TravisJeffries if you have played before, yes. If not, in my opinion, it's better to build this team to learn the game and why this team works without wasting valuable time, resources, and energy.
But how do i know what stats to use on each piece of gear? Why didnt u go over all the gear pieces?
@thuggish07 I believe I reviewed the main stats on on the bottom pieces. Top slots always the same main stat. If you want specific builds, look at the champion spotlight playlist for each hero. Also, gear is too random for anyone to match a build exactly. Look for gear that has the main stat needed, then pick the one that matches as close as possible. There is no need to exactly replicate a champion in order to be successful.
hey, i really like your video ! i would like to know what exactly have you put on Kael, i mean on the equipment : boots, chestplate and guantlets. And can you tell me if Genbo the dishonored is fine instead of kael.
Genbo seems like mainly an arena hero. He has some good skills though for very specific situations. Kael is basiclly Def, Acc, and as much Att, Crit, and Crit damage you can get. I have mine in lifesteal and speed sets.

Amazing video! What ability makes it so that the shield buff has a gold rim and is carrying over between rounds?
It's the bolster gear set from forge pass. You can craft like 20 or 30 each time it appears. Shield set from fire knight works early game.
ive been farming on brutal for valerie spirithost and diabolist and i havent gotten a single one of any of those characters, do the stars matter for rewards outside of the stuff at the bottom of the screen? i've spent easily 4k+ energy trying to get all of these guys but that was for relickeeper before i knew i should use these guys :/ i guess it's just dumb luck i havent gotten any of them yet, i cant get to nightmare just yet or id farm there, any specific levels that have a higher drop chance?
It's 100% random. I have gotten 5 in one day, and I have gotten none in days. You just keep going until it happens. But this is also why I used books on spirit host. That level is brutal for me on drops.

Loved the way you explained speed in relation to the different champions on the same team!
Elhain is fine for normal content. Kael just fits better due to his poisons for clan boss and some of the more tanky bosses. Elhain works better in helm smasher and can do serious damage in the arena as well. Either way, you'll eventually have both, so no loss. And yes. All my strats will be viable forever. I only use mystery shards and heroes everyone gets, regardless of when they start. I do not use fusion heroes or free legendaries from time limited events.

I agree with everything except buying masteries for all of them. Yes buying Kaels masteries should be your first priority. The rest can still do what they do without masteries. It’s not advisable to spend so many gems on farmable rares. I’m assuming this is for mostly new F2p or low spenders and if you don’t have your gem mine unlocked it’s hard getting gems.
That is fine. This isn't a rule, it's a suggestion. This account is F2P mystery shards only. Gems are fairly easy to save up early on if you are doing all missions. I'm 7 and half months in and I bought the 4 starters, jizoh, drexthar, and maybe one or 2 more. I have the sparring pit open and gem mine maxed as of now. Currently I have 3200 gems with no use other than energy since I only use mystery shards. This team is an easy to max team that once finished, can help new players advance fast. But my opinion has always been play how you want and have fun.
But you need the warmaster procs for clan boss and the other boss
Also working on Scyl. Kael is a farmer,in addition to other roles, if I can get Soulbond to do farming faster, it should be better.
Kael can farm. Soulbond, there is a void dog unless you aren't pulling, and Saurus is uncommon that can farm also.
Not sure if you will still respond to this but if you have Deacon who would you replace with him? He has multiple things that others in this group do.
I'd say take out war maiden for Deacon. It's the main thing he does, even though he does other stuff. Only down side if I remember correctly, is he does it in 2 skills, so 2 rounds have to go by.

It took me 200 days to get her on this account. I believe the video is in bonus Playlist. A lot happens in 200 days, but that video may have my vault showing the heroes I used up to that point. If not, just search arbiter 200 days in youtube.
Hey, Day 180, I picked up Scyl, took her to 50 with brews, I had 7 incubusses ready, I also wanted Coldheart to join in the levelling, so I got another 40 incubus ready to 5 star, and used 2 5 star chickens. I've got alot of extra gear. I probably need to clean gear. I think I should be good to sell most of the gear not equipped. I'll need to get better gear at some point, but we are not there yet. Scyl doesn't yet have masteries, Cold heart is also working on masteries in Minotaur's. I think when I get better gear, I can begin to make the champions better. Artak is great. Masteries will take awhile to get, going mostly with free energy. I don't yet have enough accuracy on Scyl, but I did go with a stun set, so there's some stuns from the set. Plans for more AOE champs with stun sets. For now, I'll see how CH, Kael, Scyl, Elva and Artak do in getting through some things as we get further. Getting masteries. HP for tier 6.
The good news is that when it is all said and done, it doesn't really matter who you level first. You will need as many champions as possible to do all content. Faction wars alone requires 5 heroes per faction. Doom tower requires a ton of heroes for secret rooms. As long you keep building, eventually, you will have tons of options to complete challenges.
Who do you recommend as replacement for the other 3 besides kael?
Deacon is good for turn meter and Def down. Att up, basically choose whoever. There are a bunch. Stag knight is really good as well. Debuff removal is really the only thing missing after that. Or revival. Just remember that you need tons of heroes to beat all content. Don't get hung up on one team. Build one team, them move on to new ones.
hey man sorry to bug u again but i finally got Kael to 6 star and ascended should i move my attention to spirit host now? or would u suggest a different one? also in your old tut series u recommended Kael with different masteries which i used but in this one u said go war master. Which i have already used the free reset would it be worth using the gems to reset again and do his masteries like u have here?
Helm smasher is mainly for late game and arena to break defense. War Master gives a damage proc. Both are fine on kael. I'd just keep what you have and keep moving on other heroes. I believe I personally built War maiden next, but either is fine. You just started and more than likely kael in lifesteal can manage most fights at that point on his own.

Spirithost is crazy. Did 500 plus runs and never got her.
For some reason I have noticed that graybeard and spirithost have an insanely low drop rate in campaign. I don't know if it is just my luck or not, but it's the reason I haven't gotten graybeard's skills maxed yet. I got like 8 templars in a day or 2, but these guys like to hide.
Which sheild set, it sounds like your talking about shield set, but the icon looks like it's the self shield one
You get a shield set from a mission to beat fire knight in the beginning. It's the group shield set. Getting bolster from forge pass is the better set later on. You can also farm the group shield set later on for Valerie.
Cool, yeah just the vid looks like the self shield one. I just started so only lvl 25 ish on pass, not dropping 40 bucks to finish lol
@aramil shadow you can get bolster from forge pass on the free part. I have finished it 3 times so far in 8 months for bolster shield set. Sometimes, they give you different sets. This account is F2P.
High Khatoun is a weird one. She needs 2 turns to do what Diabolist does in 1 turn. But then she also has 9% more speed on her aura and also, I think, does a decrease speed. She’s a free champ after 30 days. Would you see her replacing Diabolist at that time?
She doesn't ever replace her since they are different affinities. Both are good, both can do most content, and both have turn meter reduction. Just pick the one that is strong affinity to make that fight easier.
This is backwards. Diabolist needs two turns to do what High Khatun can do in one turn. High Khatun boosts speed and turn meter all in her a2. In order to boost speed, turn meter and decrease enemy turn meters, they both need two turns.

Starting is the 3 star att set and hp set from campaign. Lifesteal for 4 days log in goes on kael. Shield set you get from fire knight mission. Speed set from starter tournament in first 2 or 3 days.
I'm not yet sure about being able to get scyl above 200 speed, but that'd also be a good goal eventually with glyphs and whatnot, and need that accuracy from the great hall, but that is long term.
Took me awhile. It comes with time.

@MartySalo early game is poison. Have a support hero to boost turn meter or heal and shield. Att down and Def up help also.

Depends if you like him enough to max him. You could just get him to 60 and not book him as an extra damage dealer when Valerie is not needed. You'll build all of them eventually, so it just who helps you more now.

This was an early build. I didn't have as many gear options as I do now. I have added accuracy to him over time. As far as the others, all are good. The starting 5 is there to get you started. There is no one team to beat the game. You will need heros from every faction, Affinity, and rarity to do everything. Start with these 5, then start building other heroes to add to your arsenal. If you are new, it's best to make this team work before wasting valuable resources on epics and leggos. FYI apothecary is a solid replacement for diabolist. He is arguably the best rare in the game for speed support. I still use him in late game content.

@@borisgorenc6113 I honestly love Spirithost and she is amazing when built right. I assume you mean Valkyrie, and she is kind of unreplaceable. I do not use high end leggos, but she is a pain in the but to kill. Spirithost has remove and block debuffs in one skill with the 50% att up and she heals herself. She is not replaceable, but sometimes not needed. No regular heroes function as well as Spirithost.
How do you start the fights with a lot of shield and max hp?
Shield set from fire knight or bolster set once you get it from forge pass.

Apothecary is Definitely better, but diabolist is fine until you get him.
What about Hydra?
Is the chance to get the Rare champions higher when you farm them on higher difficulties ?
Supposedly, but as with all things in Raid, it's still random chance. Just farm the highest area you can while leveling food heroes. You will get them all eventually.

Kael is best, but not required. Just means less poison damage on clan boss
Is there a way to upgrade artifacts from say *** to **** ?
After you hit a certain level it unlocks. I believe 40, but I could be wrong.
Deacon supposedly replaces warmaiden and diabolist, any suggestions as who to add? leaves 1 spot open on the team
Depends on who you pull or get. If you do not need any specific hero, an extra damage dealer is good, or a crowd control hero like stun or freeze. Preferably all enemies.

@optimal_3-gener yes, but the heroes can drop from any level. I personally used books to max spirithost and Valerie. I farmed war maiden and diabolist. To me it was just better to get up and running fast. You can choose to farm the lower levels or not. Either way works.

I believe I did war maiden next just because I wanted the attack power to bulldoze through stuff. I don't think it really matters, but I'd say her or spirithost. You only need to be able to farm minotaur 15 with 4 heros to start farming masteries.

He is a really good protection hero so yes. He just doesn't have team buffs like Valerie. Personally I wouldn't build him to replace her because she is great, but I would definitely build him as well. Both are very useful and I don't think the order matters. Just pick the one you like better and do the other one later.

Whoever your starter is. If you picked Athel, she is the only one that does not function as well as the other 3. In that case, just pick a hero that has strong aoe attacks and does not die. Kael is hard to replace though, since he is insanely good.

What if I took Galek inistead of Kael? what would you replace him with?
Galek can perform all the basic functions of kael early game. He will not be anywhere near as good as kael in clan boss, so that will slow down mission progress a bit. Also, Kael can whittle down boss hp with his constant poisons, making him much easier to work with. Long term it doesn't matter, it will just make starting a bit more difficult. It's not the end of the world, just an advantage.

He's basically a replacement for war maiden.

As usual this guide shows easy to obtain champions in TOP end gear. If you have a FTP account that is able to obtain 6 star maxxed out gear you WILL ABSOLUTELY have much better champions to choose from, unless you are absurdly unlucky in shard summons. Also, there are TOP tier champions available as new account rewards (ie Deacon Armstrong, S tier) that negate the need to invest heavily in any of these champions except maybe Kael. It takes a ridiculous amount of investment to 6 star a champion and those resources will absolutely be better spent elsewhere.
My gear isn't top end, it's just not one month gear. This is a mystery shard only run. I do not use any fusion heroes, free leggos, or anything that anyone can not get. This video shows what your team can become, not what it is. I have videos back until day 30 of this account if you need step by step how I got here. Most people can figure out that farming gear comes with time, so I don't make videos with 3 star gear.
I'm confused, this is supposed to be a farmable set for F2P people to be able to do content...yet you say to put two different champions in gear sets that are only capable of getting if you purchase an old forge pass?
Forge pass comes around with the same sets and changes every time. I believe it's 3 different gear sets. So each time the pass is active, free players get materials to make about 15 5 to 6 star pieces and some 4 to 5 star also. Over time, you will get all of them. The bolster set can be replaced with a shield set that everyone gets from doing starter missions or farming fire knight. This video shows what this team can become over time. The progression of the team is in my progression videos. This specific team is about 7 to 8 months of play time if I remember correctly.

I don't know that I would replace anyone with him. Probably just use him in place of Valerie to speed up 5 man dungeons that are easier to beat. Kael is way to good against bosses and clan boss. The others support him. He's a good hero, just may not fit well in this specific team. I would build this team and him on the side. But that's just me. I don't know if I would book him though until you see if he works well.

@@JSGGamingChannel if you are new, I'd save Lego books until you understand the game. That's why farming and booking these five is a good start, as it is easy. I did kael and spirithost with books, then farmed war maiden.

12-6 for xp, 12-3 for silver
So I didn’t buy any masteries and used my gems on the sparing pit to unlock each spot and 2 lvls of the mine then the market. I have farmed a bit of masteries for kael and udk but am stuck couldn’t get the last two tiers and i am stuck on dragon 13. I have gotten Warmaiden to 5 star and diabolist but i dont have the gear to beat dragon 14. I feel stuck is there anything I should do? Should i be doing the missions i just completed the first part of the mission and now have 300 gems. Is it worth to keep doing that till i have the gems to finish masteries on kael?

@@reaperkillz4988 once you farm masteries that far, it's a waste to spend 800 gems on a hero. That being said, the reason I bought masteries on my first 4 heros is because the last mastery warmaster and helmsmasher are huge damage boosters, especially when mixed with tons of extra damage, speed, and cooldown reduction from other masteries. Full masteries on them is a speed booster to get you beating content for farming gear, masteries, and everything else. The gem mine and sparring pit help more after you finish your first 4. So basically just focus on quests, buy the masteries for maybe war maiden and spirithost and you will see a huge boost in power. Then finish farming kael. Gems are easy to get once you have a full 60 team maxed. Also make sure your gear is correct with crit, crit damage, att, and speed boots. Will really help.

You die. This is a go first team for starting players. I do not personally use this full team anymore. You have 2 choices. Get better heros, or build this team specifically for arena and max their speed as much s you can. We are talking about the first 4 to 6 months. I finished the arena quests for arbiter with this team, only replacing kael with dark elhain and choosing fights I had a chance of winning. Arena sucks, and you will lose, but you should win more than you lose if you choose wisely on fights.
i know i found many teams like that in arena and thanks god my deacon and kael were fasters (this how i have my most wins there)...im not so lucky in shards so i must improvise all the time...this party is realy good for beginers the only flaw is the enemys DD speed..if is faster whole party will die instant....actualy i havent many choices bcause the shards so far gave me only craps..imagine that i play all stages with ronda kael deacon apothecary and royal guard...an "all weather" team lol...i hope u to load some videos for doom tower...with some rare heroes...this will help us alot...i know is very very hard but as new players we dont have other choice.
@@M1Y4MUS4SH1 I have beaten 2 of the 3 doom tower normal rotations. Working on the bomal one now. I will be doing more doom tower boss guides as I go. As for arena, not doing auto and using soulbond bowyer for death knight teams helps as she can one shot him and most force affinity pains in the ass. Deliana as an example.
@@mobilegamernerd5233 well as i said..game gave me only craps so far from shard..so i dont have many choises...for me the best champ vs death night is ronda..she lock his passive and active skills ..deacon drop his defence..and kael will kill him...even in tag arena i use her vs him..ofc of i find a D.N that has power same as whole of my party i avoid him lol.
So I just started and the rng of these drops is rediculous lol. I am 3 days in and 1 battle away from finishing chapter 12. I spent 10 bucks and got Ronda who at my point in the game hits like a truck.
Would you recommend dumping major resources into her for long term use or is she just flashy because I'm new?

Hey mobile nerd loved this video, i want to build a team for unm, currently doing 4key nm cb, I'm a f2p and all the other creators charge for their service, and my condition for this game is to not spend a dime. Cam you by chance help me?
I do not take over accounts as of now. My team will usually beat NM in 3 keys. My clan has not beat NM yet, and it has not been a focus for me recently. I will be revamping the team soon, as I would like to start UNM. There are a lot of clan boss videos out there, so I would watch as many as possible, then see what hero's you have that can do the best job for now. Thats how I beat most content, is checking what others do, then see what team I have that can do the same.

@@KozyKoti without knowing every hero you have, the only advice I could give is to pick heros that all match up. So either an all poison team (kael, banshee, kalvalax, etc), an all hp burn team (ninja, drexthar, mordecai, etc), or an unkillable team, which I'd say check out the other 20 raid content creators, as I have yet to build an unkillable team. Leech, shield, turn meter boost, Def up and down, att up and down, heals, and weaken are all good secondary skills to have, so pick heros that fill as many roles as possible.

Wukong is an arena hero I'm theory. He is still good other places. I just made a champion spotlight video this week with all 6 legendary heros that were free recently. Watch that and see if he is what you need. Personally, I would just level him as an extra without investing books. That way, you can see if he is what you need before wasting books.

@Mr.Artjom very good revive support. Remember that you should build one team, then start adding heroes. Just don't get to spread out early on, you may just confuse yourself. I did it alot before this playthrough.

Almost every attack based hero that is rare will be phantom touch.

Still works. As long as you are faster, you should win. Plenty of exceptions though, and arena is all about counters. As you die and gain new heroes, you will mix and match based on the team you fight. I still use this team in tag team.

only problem I find with this is champs are level 60 which takes awhile and using gear that requires the forge which I can't even use yet
