I was malding hard during that fight lol. It was brutal but I finally managed to beat him and it was pretty amazing.

HAPPY to say that I met 5 bosses in my first night of exploration and got FILTERED by ALL OF THEM. Cannot wait to sink my teeth in after my first 3 hours tonight ❤
Im playing this on ng+ man, exploration is your best friend tryna get to 2 or 3 blessing level before the legacy dungeons helps a lot

I have met 2 side bosses so far and they got filtered by my destined death

In my arrogance, I thought I'd have too easy of a time if I didn't go in in at least NG+3 (at RL150 because that's the PvP meta) with my 100% completion save file. I mean -- I'm a "veteran" and all that -- an "expert" even! I beat Malenia at RL1, how hard can it be, right? RIGHT???
So then I moseyed on over to the first boss (for me this was also the Blackgaol Knight) and immediately proceeded to get destroyed for 2 hours straight. Took something like 65 tries.
For my hubris, Miyazaki is thoroughly punishing me now. Careful going into this one blind on a NG+ cycle guys, it really doesn't faff around lol
10/10 would get humbled again.
You can never be too confident in Souls games. That’s a recipe to get your ass handed to you.
My original character is on NG7 and I couldn’t bear to abandon him. The dancing lion messed me up bad for an hour and a half, and I got killed like 5 times just trying to get to him. I’m having a blast, the dlc is amazing.
I did the same thing but I’m on +7. I’m level 350 lmao and get 1 shot by almost everything. I screwed up and was worried it would be too easy.
My kills against these bosses are all just sheer luck at this point lol

That Renalla fight is ridiculous. Shes like a Pontiff Sulivahn knock off and can rotate 180 degree behind you in a 7 hit combo that you cant track.
You got this man what I do is a get a few hits in roll away heal if I need to and get back in and rinse and repeat
all that and a fire giant health bar too

They include a summon you know you don’t have to fight a boss by yourself especially when you’re probably at only 1/5 of your true powers

That first fight with the blackgaol knight was incredible. First thing's first: Fill 'em full of holes.
Honestly that fight is great, and tells you wow if this is how good the first boss is, I’m in for a real treat here. Good design

Man if you get anywhere near a corner the camera is going full cancer on you. Other than that the dodging for the lightning effects and such is pretty good. I think because of the camera though it's probably the worst boss for me.
even alot of the bosses in the main game were like this. Badly designed. From should stick to semi open worlds.

That happened to me a lot to, I would get so into the fight that we'd end up in a wall, so to counter that I just backed off more and went to the middle( died less too lol) best boss so far imo

I freaking love how there is at least one ongoing joke that the community cultivates through messages. With base-game Elden Ring, it was "try finger but hole," and now its all about people edging or wanting to edge. This community is so goddamn committed to each bit and I love it.
Dude this DLC is right up there for Blood and Wine and The Ancient Gods for my favorite DLC’s of all time, def a classic already and im glad that theres so much going for it already, great stream btw man :) also u should check out the Witcher 3, u would def enjoy it
I just could never get into Witcher 3, but the DLC for that game is the standard. It's universally acclaimed. Maybe it's a timing thing. Elden Ring is one of the best games that I've ever played, and I've been playing games since the mid-80s. I can't wait to jump into the DLC. I'm back to playing the base game now. I've been taking my time with it, and it's beyond fantastic. Enjoy the DLC.👊🏿
Stop kidding yourself, the final boss is one of the most mediocre bosses both design, lore and mechanics wise that FS has put out. Completely ruined the DLC for me. Don't you dare compare this to jawdropping DLCs like Blood and Wine, or the ancient gods pt1&2.

Just started the dlc and I have to say the black steel great hammer is pretty cool
A great 6.5hrs of Actman while i gear up and lvl a new toon for the DLC. My main is on NG+5 so I was having severe trouble killing Mohg because I usually skip him let alone I can't imagine how brutal the dlc would be on Ng+5. Ill admit it really does suck I was not thinking about the DLC 2 years ago when going NG+.
I got 78 hrs on my 1 and only play through. Haven't beaten radhan yet.

"Bro he two shot me!" Yeahhhhh pretty much sums up my experience with the DLC. But honestly the hardest fight for me so far is definitely the blackgoal knight, his stuns were just so inconsistent. 😭 Like sometimes I could stun him before he attacks, other times he would just tank it and hit me anyway threw me off so damn bad.
Clearly two best questlines are the great Kenneth height and alexander

I wandered into Messmer's room and actually beat him first try, it was a fucking miracle, I was panicking the whole time, I actually audibly screamed when I first saw him turn into a snake, I was just like wtfffff...

No lag for me on Xbox series x. But I don't play with ray tracing and always play on performance. Need every frame. But I don't get stutters or anything. Smooth like butter.

Dude my reaction to when I saw them was awful, at the very least they don't have much health so you can kill them quickly
I really want to start Elden Ring again after seeing this, but I already know for certain that it would absolutely demolish me. I couldn't finish the base game because my reactions were too sluggish to handle the enemy's skill level.
I might still do it though.. One thing I noticed is that the oppressive camera so I went to check if people had figured a fix for it, but turns out the community absolutely despise the camera for Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is kinda weird to watch streams on. If someone doesn't play the way I would it gets frustrating to watch (Asmon). Act plays like my style so this was a great stream to watch!
Asmon is horrific to watch, no tactic,no adaptation,basic jump attack spamming the whole game and just bigdick everything and when it doesnt work he gets annoyed and blame everyone and the game 😂

What I love about this game is, I haven't even seen the first main boss he fought.... But have beaten 2 other main bosses. Love the open world design, not in a rush to find him but not exactly paying attention enough to know just listening in when I can lol
Thats not how it works in these. Theres no real main first boss. If you want a first boss then its the lion not even Rellana. The lion give you the sight of grace that points to the castle
30 strength and 25 dexterity is absolutely insane for the build you're using... I was wondering why you were doing so little dmg lol

I am in my 60s with medical issues, ER:SOUT is a game I can not play and finish. I have to watch others, which is OK. I have been playing computer games for a very long time, and I have been searching for someone who would play this game like I would. ACTMAN does that. He checks the notes sometimes, he will show you the gear he just got, watching ACTMAN play ER:SOUT is refreshing. It's worth the watch.
I still STRONGLY DISAGREE with ACTMAN, I think making the game a bit easier for people LIKE ME, so I can play and enjoy the game makes sense for the players and makes business sense for From Soft. HOWEVER, if this is all I can get, I will take it.
Well I went in in new game + with a 150 that ghost dude was bat shit crazy but I had better time. Second try it fell. But VS Mogh new game + mogh was a joke.

On an unrelated note, you are doing way better on the lion boss than me! With summon I can get him to 25%, without I can barely get him to 50%.... I give myself another, let's say 200 attempts, until I summon a player. (Currently watching at 4:08:00 )
