It’s interesting how mothers intuition is real . Your kids are so fortunate to have a support like you. My friend had a child the same time as me and hers had Down syndrome. My baby at the same
As hers was my son Ben. Lots of emotions at that time and now . He had to have surgery and he was also an “ooops” baby meaning he was born after 4 kids and a big space and in their older years thinking they were starting a new life with older kids only . Long story but they learned a lot from the situation

Thanks so much! It sounds like both Ben and your friend’s child with DS were here on earth for very special reasons. Remembering you in prayer during the holidays as I’m sure it’s hard without Ben here.

(HUGS). That’s a hard thing to go through. Every parent/grandparent is sad when they find out that news from the Dr. You’re right that you’re lucky she doesn’t have a heart defect. My cousin’s daughter with DS is now 22 and dealing with a major upcoming heart surgery. I have a feeling your next video will be good news by your smile.

Thanks for commenting. There’s a plot twist in episode 2. Petra is actually quite medically fragile and had a pretty dramatic first two years.
