Augi 🎀

i decided to push myself and turn • augi into a fuller song before the end of the titular month
i might still end up going back to it in the future to add or change things up. i hope it goes without saying, but i love the idea of doing more with my songs and characters, but it can be hard for me to strike a balance between keeping it to myself for focus - and sharing it. i put a lot of heart and meaning into this song, so much so that i almost didn't want to share it. so i hope you can appreciate it in some way :]
also i wasn't sure if i wanted to dub the mixed version over this footage, or just have the raw audio from famitracker (because im quite proud of how well it sounds just in nsf format). so i decided to choose the latter while having the mixed version on my soundcloud -- / augi

将来的にもう一度戻ってきて、何かを追加したり変更したりするかもしれません。言うまでもないことかもしれませんが、私は自分の曲とキャラクターにさらに取り組むアイデアが大好きです。しかし、私にとっては、集中するために自分にとって保持することと、それを共有することのバランスを取ることが難しいことがあります。私はこの曲に多くの心と意味を込めました。そのため、ほとんど共有したくなかったほどです。だからこそ、どうか何らかの形でそれを評価していただければ嬉しいです。
また、混合されたバージョンをこの映像の上に吹き込むか、FamiTrackerの生のオーディオ（nsf形式だけでもかなり良い音になっているので）をそのまま使用するか、最初は迷っていました。そのため、後者を選び、混合されたバージョンをSoundCloud（ / augi）

I really love how you really muck about the chord changes and implied key, there's a really goddamn lovely seamless quality to it - and it makes the song feel so damn alive, no stop in sight, it's just *alive*

it is one of the few songs that are so next to the character's emotions and also so lovery

ボサノヴァ調でありながら、どこか寂しい雰囲気を感じさせる曲調が素晴らしいですし、4:56 からのlate summer nightのテーマに移り変わるところは鳥肌が立ちました。
これからもこのような素晴らしい作品を楽しみにしています！！

I have a suspicion that you used the VRC6 in this little chiptune
I'd normally forsake anyone who uses the VRC6 because its so overused compared to other Famicom expansion audio, but... you actually did something interesting with the chip!!
