    If you have comments or questions please leave them below. As mentioned in the comments, of course the monitor has a headphone jack, not a mic jack.

    Excellent review! May I know if the image can be flipped? To be used in a teleprompter mode?

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  3 года назад +1

      Thank you! Yes, If you turn "Auto mirror" off, you have then the options for flipping horizontally and vertically.

    Excellent review. If I load photos and clips on the SD card, it playback on this monitor?

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  3 года назад +1

      Thank you! The sd card function is only for firmware upgrades and installing LUTs. I did not test it, but there is no option for playing media.

    Hello! Are you still using this monitor?
    What's your thoughts about it after all the time?

    This monitor have the problem of creak noises when use monitor mounted on cold shoe from the bottom. Mine creak loudly when I push it forward and backward and even if I tight it up in one position and I shoot handheld and walk with it, makes some noises that in camera microphone gets on each clip. I don't know I gotta send it back or cage would solve that problem? Did u notice that issue with yours too?

    how does it behave if you supply 4k50 (or 1080@100) for example? Will it display the feed and drop to 4k25 (1080@25) ?

    Very nice review. Why you choosed this over atomos shinobi? All is talking that shinobi is better.

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  3 года назад +2

      Thanks! The Shinobi is about 120€ more here if you don't need the SDI version of the LUT6. Shinobi has "only" 1000 nits. I don't know if the Shinobi is better because I didn't try it.

    if u playback 4k 60-120fps from a camera, does it show at all? or it says not supported? or just plays in lower frame rate? this monitors goes up to 4k 30fps as i know.

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  3 года назад

      60 fps is displayed with 30fps, 50 as 25. 120fps is usually saved as lower framerate in camera, depending on your settings (max 60fps on G9 ). So same applies here.

      @@TeaJayPhotography thanks.at the same time, when i just record 4k 60 -120, i assume the same thing happens? not playback, just when i record with sony a7siii for example, am i able to see what i record through the monitor while in higher frame rate?

    I have Feelworld LUT6 connected with a7S3 and camera is heating in all area around HDMI connector . I mean not small heating around connector, but basically all left side and front until the lens mount is heating. Is it normal?

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  2 года назад +1

      I don't have an a7s3 so i cant say anything about it. But Sony cameras getting hot has been a known Problem for some years now...

    How long does the battery last?

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  2 года назад

      This depends on a lot of factors, like your batter capacity, the brightness setting of the monitor, if the fan has to work more, when it's warm... So I have not tested this.

    I have some problems. When I do a pan from left to right or viceversa I see a like a bad compression In the image, like little drips. Then when I connect my camera by SDI in 4 k the monitor can not show the image. When I connect my camera by HDMI the monitor show me the video with any problem. Could some one here confirm this? Thanks

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  3 года назад

      Seems that you hdmi cable can't handle the 4k or was a bit loose? For SDI I can't say anything because I only got the hdmi version.

    • @chariesbergero9662
      @chariesbergero9662 3 года назад

      @@TeaJayPhotography by HDMI I can see in 4K without any problem. My problem is by SDI, I can not see 4K and the cable it work in 4K because I used on an ATOMOS ninja in 4 k pretty well.

    • @chariesbergero9662

      @@TeaJayPhotography I read on the manual, and I can see that this monitor only support 4k by HDMI but not by SDI. When I made tilt up or down I can see a problem of pixelation on the image, like a little errors. Could you see that on your monitor?

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  3 года назад

      @@chariesbergero9662 Hi, I just tested this and I don't have any issues with pixelation. Really sounds like loose connection, cable problem or the monitor has some loose connection inside. And SDI standard only supports up to 1080p.

  • @stefanoaprea
    @stefanoaprea 3 года назад

    the monitor gets very hot after 5 minutes, even to you?

    • @TeaJayPhotography
      @TeaJayPhotography  3 года назад +1

      It does get warm, not very hot. The fan starts cooling after some minutes. I haven't used it on 100% for longer though since it's not that bright this time of the year.
