Yes, that is indeed a Dustin Kensrue Stingray (Ernie Ball Music Man) guitar. Big Thrice fan. Love that you guys know who Thrice is. Thanks so much for the react! Sennheiser made that white custom one and sent it out on the singer's birthday. BIG shoutout to both Ernieball and Sennheiser for supporting our band's journey
Matt must have seen this 7 months ago 😂 but you tube just gave me a notification today! Wtf!?!? Thanks for checking us out we definitely have more of y’all coming!
I heard about them, just through their collab with Jonathan Young among other. But I love the rasp in their voices. I love female voices who can jump or be on the edge, like Sandra Nasic or Lacey Strum. So, I really love this discovery.
Stumbled across this channel just the other day and got hooked! You guys do an amazing job! If you enjoyed this work you'd probably really enjoy Jonathan Young and Lauren Babic singing "You're gonna go far kid." The Halocene Cinematic Universe as it's come to be known (Halocene, Lauren Babic, Violet oOlandi, and occasionally First to Eleven) have a bunch of phenomenal covers. Enter Sandman, Don't Stop Believin', and Bohemian Rhapsody among the notable. Keep up the fantastic work! Looking forward to seeing more content!
Halocene is Addie on vocals, Joe on drums, and Brad on guitar, bass, and he directs and does all the video works. There is a whole group of artists who all work together. Its jokingly called the HCU, Halocene Cenematic Universe.
Since they moved to Nashville TN (dammit I hit H for N cause I read Russian! 😂) their former drummer, Joe Pollizzi, had to part ways with the band because he had additional commitments and couldn't join them. He's since been recruited by Sicksense, a band that includes Vicky Psarakis, formerly of The Agonist! Addie and Brad are married and make a cute "power couple" that produce weekly request concert livestreams on Twitch, which usually include some quite hilarious shenanigans in addition to the music they play, and they've since included Quinton Kufahl as their drummer. As for harsh vocals, Addie's begun to learn from Lauren herself, and you can hear the results in their latest original release, "Just Won't Die"!
I realize you guys probably already know about them but I am going to mention it anyway. In This Moment. They completely blew me away the first time I ever heard them. They were opening up for Disturbed and Korn and I got there early enough to catch the show. I IMEADIATLY went and found their CD and bought it.
Nice work! Check out their cover of Flyleaf I'm So Sick! It is amazing! Then watch Down With The Sickness (Violet Orlandi ft Ai Mori COVER). Both songs are Outstanding!

I watched Ronnie Radke react to Halocene cover Popular Monster, on Twitch. He liked it, he told people writing in the chat how they didn't like it to stop. That says to me he actually does like her cover.
As for other artists to check out, I would say Aesthetic Perfection with their song Gods and Gold (featuring Richard Z Kruspe of Rammstein on guitars) or S E X with Sebastian Svalland on guitars.
Lauren babic does an fantastic cover of king for a day They both do a popular monster cover that’s great too (original artist->falling in reverse) Which if you haven’t reacted to popular monster by falling in reverse I suggest you do that too

north and south American represent
On that rasp or scream thing: I’ve come across vocal coaches advertising for that technique
10:42 “I’ve always thought that was kind of a weird reach to go way back behind you”
[laughs in Neil Peart]
(Also RIP)
Love a chick with rasp!
Speaking of which, if you guys ever get in the mood to react to some older stuff, check out Lita Ford or Joan Jett.
