Again "Eagle Eyes" has proven his worth! Not only "sharp vision", but also a "sharp mind." Great find! Maybe the Luftwaffe personnel were sharing a homemade casserole & the sub crewman responsible for returning the dish, accidentally dropped it into the harbor. "Take care & be safe."

Absolutely incredible work team! Well done EE for coming up with that brilliant solution. So happy it worked!! That Luftwaffe serving dish is just beautiful. And to think it's lain on the bottom since at least 1945, surviving a ton of junk and garbage being thrown down from above, and tides and storms shoving things around, for all that time. That is just magic. And cleaned up like it is, it looks as if it just came out of the kitchen yesterday. What a spectacular find, and well worth pushing the ROV to the battery limit to retrieve it. Such an amazing recovery, and another little WW2 mystery. Love it. Thank you for sharing! Cheers!

Great work my friend. EE great thinking outside the box. That gripper is tougher than aluminum so beat it. If it fails, we ship another. It is amazing what is still left on the bottom from the past. Maybe we should have second set for the other V6, can put 2 units down for bigger items. Confidence my friend confidence, if you drop something it will still be there for a second try. This is another great video by HH and EE. Stay safe and now warm out there.

Yes we are going to do some work with 2 rovs in the near future so more grabbers could do the trick. Me and EE are training for that these days. Loved that and thanks William for your brilliant grabbers :)

Another great adventure for you and EE, History Hunter, and a fantastic artefact for all your hard work. Your adventures just get better and better. It is great to see EE so exited about history. He will remember these experiences all his life, and your encouragement for his involvement in your adventures is something to be admired. Looking forward to next hunt for WW2 history. Stay safe both of you, and greetings from Australia 🇦🇺!

It would be a great addition to your videos to hear more of you and EE banter, I like hearing his comments behind the camera. I have to guess the bowl you brought up would be from an officer's mess serving soup, potatoes, etc. It cleaned up nicely.

Good to read and yes i think it can be a soup or potato bowl. Thanks Paul and greetings from us.

That was totally awesome!!!! Again very well done, who would've ever imagined finding that basin and in such great condition too, the stampings clear and perfect. I'm slowly building up my Luftwaffe collection, started with Fallschirmjager, the D.A.K, went to a yard sale few years ago found ,now get this, an Fallschirmjager jump smock. SS type ll smock and helmet covers all for 10.00, the lady thought they were hunting coats and rain caps. I goosestepped back to my truck, did the Hermann Goering shuffle.

@@WW2HistoryHunter You're very welcome, oh talk about lucky day, she also had an original WW1 U.S. handle shovel, painted garden green, got that too stripped it down cuz WW1 era pack tools weren't painted, this thing is in solid condition too. Amazing on the stuff that can be found, 1.50 find em on sale today and see the prices. I even got the rifle K98 bandoleer hands from the neck.
