TERRIBLE BAG REPAIR EXPERIENCE! | DESTROYED LEMAIRE CROISSANT BAG

Hi everyone,
I unfortunately had to take my Lemaire croissant bag for a repair.. and I'm gutted to report that the repair job was butchered and horrible. I had to take all the stitches out, which left large holes all over the strap and cover them with my scrappy "repair efforts" - I covered them with yellow thread I had laying around at my home.
Hope you guys learn from my mistake and only take your handbag to TRUSTED leather craftsman for repair..
While I'm sad this happened I am content with my amateur repair and that I am still able to carry the bag.

Sorry that happened to your Lemaire bag! I’m an owner of two cats that can be unpredictable, and had saw bite marks on one of my designer handle bags. Even it was minor, it sucked! Those details really get to me. Ever since then, I always store my luxury leathered goods in the closet closed 😅

Now all of my bags are also stored in a room with the door closed. Definitely a lesson learned 😂

I feel you. My cat scratched the heck out of my brand new croissant bag and created a mini crater on the leather. I did a decent job of fixing it with leather glue but my heart breaks everytime I look at it.

Aw so sorry to hear that 😭 I’m just glad that it’s still usable because it’s definitely one of my most used bags in my wardrobe!

It’s my bad for leaving the bag out while on vacation… 😭 but at least the bag is still usable! Happy 4th, hope you had a good holiday 😄

Even if this is something he couldn’t do he should’ve just been honest from the beginning because now it’s gonna make everyone wonder if this is how all his work is like! So disappointing & I’m so sorry this is what happened to your bag!

I know! And the thing is whenever I went in, he had so many pairs of shoes and bags hanging that were all “being worked on”.. needless to say I won’t be giving him any more of my business 😔
