Adding that the smaller, second group benefited the next day from the experiences of the group the day before. We made a different drink selection, based upon your advice and enjoyed both drinks. Also, the appetizers had huge portions, plenty enough to share all around, and they were delicious!

It looked like fun ,I believe I would have the same thoughts about the way it ended. I generally tip well but when I see an automatic tip included I think to myself they just lost money, but then I hand cash directly to the server (if warranted)
Exactly! Automatic tips make me mad and the fact they had the nerve to call and talk to the person who booked everything…

If we like the service we may say “keep the change” but we don’t tip per say

When I feel pressured I then feel uncomfortable and when I feel uncomfortable, I never return. Cannot believe the manager called to remind about the tip when they knew it was included. Seems to me that they were trying to penalise the size of your group by double tipping.
