Of course, Suguru Kamoshida is used as the mascot of this song. He kicked off the entire plot and told us just how dark things would become for the rest of the game. The only other villain to top how much of a monster he is was (spoilers) Shido.
thesentence1 I agree, though I'd also say okumura comes close also more due to the scale what he was doing. The reason I feel none of the others could come close to kamoshida is due to the nature of the sin he was based on more than anything.
I don't think (Spoilers) Shido is much of a spoiler. It's pretty evident from the beginning that you're going to hit him at some point, even if I haven't gotten to it yet.
thesentence1 I dunno, Madarame is arguably worse due to his abuse perpetuating long after his victims escape his horrific care (in addition to actually having a minimum of 2 fatalities, with probably more considering the state some of the homeless victims and sheer number of them), and there's also Kaneshiro explicitly blackmailing teenage girls into sexual slavery. And the late game villains are all mass murderers
Kamoshida is the best, good design, interesting fight and the only one that felt like a normal boss fight (others just kept adding gimmicks that made them fresh but it just caused them to be stupid... Okumura... *sigh*) He is the only boss that formed a danger to the entire party by himself. Other bosses were just the PT going out of their way to get into trouble. Still it's a shame to see that the villains here are just so one-dimensional, heck I don't even know Shido's motives, was he doing all of this just because? It would've been much more interesting to see something in the gray area or someone genuinely crazy that even a change of heart didn't make a difference.
Pan Cakes I'm prtty sure most persona fights have some form of gimmick in them; kunino-Sugiri's Mind Control, Shadow Teddie's nihil hand, Marie's fight halving SP when you enter the second round, The Fortune and Strength fight in P3, the Emperor and Empress' affinity switching and thats just a few of the top of my head (I've only played from P3 onwards). Kamoshida is no different in his gimmick that being provided you keep damaging him and heal appropriately. I was able to take him on at level 9 merciless on a fresh save first try. I'd argue the most 'normal' boss fight is actually Sae as once you know pass the original roulette its a fairly standard sort of fight. From what I understand shido believes he is the one who should be leading the country and he uses any means available to him to maintain his image and consolodate power. This ego is why he's represented by Pride. ofc this is more my interpretation so feel free to respond with your own.
rebooted for 2021! also, this track is included in Rocksona: The Instrumental Collection, Vol. 1, available for streaming and/or digital purchase (details in the description)!
What a wonderful rendition you have created here. It seems to escalate over itself. I cannot help but to prefer this over the original. You did a damn fine job man, thank you!
So, after hearing some of your other songs, the thing that pisses me off is that you can record metal tracks and mix properly so everything stands out and sounds good. Why can't any of the major recording companies do that? I've also found my soundtrack for Mementos and Palace grinding.
Because complacency begets mediocrity(at least thats how i see it). The corporations arent as hungry for their art. This guy is( obviously). I mean you can feel the artistic hunger through his creativity.
Kickass as always man! Loving these Persona 5 covers, keep um coming! I can already imagine some amazing metal covers for the P5 soundtrack. Rivers in the desert?
Then suddenly you pop out of your casket in full shadow form ready to fight as four people and a fifth providing support suddenly prepare to battle you.
Yooo this is dope. I just recently got set up to start streaming on Twitch and I was wondering if you would be okay with me playing this as an intro of sorts if I credited you. I would love to hear back from you and thanks for the badass song.

Of course, I read that in Yusuke's voice (until the last sentence).
The last sentence was Ryuji chiming in.
One bad ass cover

@@Phantom-kc9ly just has different taste. I bet the one for strikers was more his cup of tea.
The volume is low

Video's a bit cheesy, but I'm into the cover. Would be a better presentation I think to just lose the intro.
Cobalt Werewolf nah it’s great
