Hello, just stumbled upon this. I love the energy here, but I wanted to mention that Reiki has been found to have some similarities with the placebo effect (you can look it up). However, the part where Kritika talks about how the body stores emotions and the hips store trauma is actually true and is backed by clinical trials. There are different types of therapists and counseling psychologists. Most practice CBT, which is what you described. However, there are many therapists like me who practice integrative therapy approaches such as somatic work, parts work, and movement therapy. These approaches help individuals reconnect with their bodies, release stored trauma, and feel more connected to themselves, and they are scientifically backed. Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and EFT are just a few of these modalities. I would recommend finding a therapist trained in such approaches. If Reiki works for anyone, no offense to them. If it works for you, I'm glad you found something helpful. However, I would highly recommend looking into the information shared above! Talking about laser hair removal. I live in UAE 🇦🇪 and been going for laser since 3 years now. I had similar issues before, some days the laser would feel so bad and some days were just easy peasy. FINALLY I realized that you shouldn’t be doing laser right before and right after your periods. Body is much more sensitive before/after periods immediately. Now i choose the laser date accordingly and it helps ❤💋
