It’s not a matter of “being alone”, really; it’s the lack of stimulation. No sound, no light, no touch, nothing. That can drive someone crazy, easily.

Peter Pan even they go insane, I think. It’s different with meditation. You still have external stimuli, and you don’t meditate 24/7. Being there I guess it’s like being in a hole, or buried alive. The lack of sound or idea of time would drive anyone crazy.

Darko Shmarko Without internet, t.v, books. Nothing... Your just in complete darkness, its harder than it sounds your brain starts getting lonely and you hallucinate, so basically your brain starts hearing at a louder frequency so whenever any slight noise happend you would hear it.

An "introvert" is a person who has not yet learned how to be themselves in public and with other people and therefore disassociates in social interaction. Dissociation is extremely emotionally draining and even painful, which is why people who disassociate want to get away from social situation in order to be alone to be able to emotionally and psychologically recover. A person dissociate because the family situation in their childhood were terrible and because they were attacked for expressing preference and showing their true self, so they learned to dissociate in relation to their parents as a defense mechanism to stop being hurt, attacked and abused. Stop glamorizing the word "introvert" as a chosen action, and start exploring it as the mental block resulting from serious psychological and emotional childhood trauma which it is.
+Ninteke introverts can be any bit as socially active as extroverts. It has nothing to do with "not having learned how to be themselves in public". They differ from extroverts by gaining energy by i.e. being alone. And it's also not a "chosen action" - who even says that? It's how you were born. People lose and gain energy in different ways.

Harder than it sounds because that includes electronics/the internet. As an introvert I thought this would be easy too, but thinking about it more, a lot of my alone time is spent on the Internet. If I had no contact or stimulation at all I don't know how I would fare.

Don't compare quarantine to total isolation with no stimulation. In quarantine you can do what you want at home, communicate with people, you have more space than a cell, and you can still go out for essential purposes, work, and even do a little exercise.
Try putting an introvert in there. Sounds like my idea of a vacation, as long as I had food and a toilet in there. I can talk to myself or live in my head for hours. I do it all the time.

I don't think you guys are quite understanding. This isn't your "typical weekend" and you definitely couldn't do this for a week. I have not watched all the parts so I am unsure if they get food. But think about it, it isn't sitting alone in your bedroom. It's a pitch black room. No windows. Only a bed. The walls are blank. There's very little space. There's no internet or TV or anything to do. You literally can't do anything other then entertain yourself with the bare minimum you have.
