Wow. Rebreaking. The illusion of rebreaking .changing leads to blood work ..great job ! I'm not sure about improving on Brad Cox ? Got to keep an eye on that. As for dramatic improvement for those of us who have been around a while. To copy a phrase " no one did it better than Oscar ! No last name needed Oscar said it all ! Good show 👍
Another great show guys . In regarding rebreaking from a lead change zozos in the Louisiana Derby looked to do exactly that but it’s very hard to see for an untrained eye. Do you guys think that is what happened. Thanks again
I did not think so at all. First thing that happened was Todd's horse stopped and quit, then Epicenter went right by him, then he moved off the rail to the outside and looked to be coming again but in reality Epicenter geared down and just made it look that way.
If you watch America's Day at the Races you know who gave the carrying luggage at the airport analogy."The Mig" Richard Migliore. He uses this analogy quite often.Unless he borrowed this example from somebody else he would be my guess.Just. curious am i correct? BTW it has taken me a long time to be able to recognize a lead change.I still can't recognize it in live time. I can only recognize it when watching a replay in slower motion. I don't know if it has to do with my eyesight. It definitely seems to take a trained eye. I sit next to friends of mine and they can recognize it and try to point it out to me, but I still can't see it and recognize it live. Have you heard of anyone having the same problem I have with this? Also some more Mig quotes to add."It's not how fast your going, but how your going fast ." Miss DiMaggio had seven kids, but only one Joe.He uses this when referring to breeding.
I don't watch it, watch the track feed. Angel Cordero was who I think I heard say it and Mig likely got it ftom him. It is a good analogy. Lead change will come. Go with your gut how it looks, don't try to hard to spot it, you'll see it.
An outstanding episode!👍
Thank you!
Really well done show, a wee bit safe in spots, but the overall info was fantastic.
Thank you
