As a Senoir, I think Homeless need help first, then Vets that are Homeless and then us Seniors. Reason I think Senoirs last is that some of us have it tough, but we have a roof over our heads and food. Might not be that great a place or food we would choose to eat but we have it. If a Senior is Homeless, then something is terribly wrong and needs to be done NOW.
Well I am at retirement age if I retire I could be homeless or have to move in with my son not fair when I spent all these years working from the age of fifteen and I won’t even have enough money for rent let alone electric or food so I either work till I die or find a couple people to live with or I am homeless . There have also been a couple a years that I worked two jobs and these people coming in would get more than I do after all these years. Some of us out here don’t make enough to put any money into retirement and I resent it. One of my sons became paralyzed at thirty and he received a whopping $750 dollars a months and $130 food stamps . I resent that.

It's not government's responsibility to take care of people, but to use our tax dollars wisely in maintaining the stability of our economy, keeping our free market system in check without over regulating it so jobs can be created. The federal government should help the mentally ill, elderly and infirmed. Able-bodied poor people should get assistance to an extent, but other than that, they should get a job.

For the longest time that’s all anyone had the mentality to do here(and still to this day) is you vote democrat across the board cuz they’re for the people. It wasn’t until around 2 years into Obamas administration that I finally opened my eyes AND my parents finally opened their eyes to what was happening. Since then it’s been pro trump. This year in abq is the first year I’ve seen so many trump flags on cars. I’m hoping the rides turn. I doubt it will happen this election but I feel more and more people are starting to wake up.
