Right?! Once I found out about Boontling, I knew that I had to make it out to Boonville and learn more. It was one of my favorite places that I visited this year.

Right?! It was so fun to research and put together. I'm trying to get my friends and family to incorporate some boont into our lingo.

My family are all Rawles’ & Vestals who were part of the community that developed the language. My great grandfather Joe Rawles was a sheriff murdered in boonville and my other great grandfather was Jeff Vestal whom I’m named after.

Thinkin' about takin' my applehead, the one with the mouse ear, to the cow skully for a bit....maybe do a little harpin' and have a horn or two. And if she doesn't get Charlie Balled, we may even do a little burlappin'...hopefully we won't be deeked!

Hahaha! That’s the Bahlest harpin’ I’ve ever deeked!!!

@@californiography Great video! I'm starting to catch on to this, nearly extinct, language through informative videos like yours. If it can't be saved in Boonville, at least we can keep it alive in various parts of the country, as long as we keep learning it! :)

@@rudylittlewolf Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you're doing your part to keep Boont alive; you've got a really great handle on it. You actually made me cackle with your Boont comment and I was happy that I understood the whole thing without having to look it up in my Boont dictionary. I've been introducing some phrases to my friends and family and no surprise, the most popular one is "burlapin'" 😆
