    The fact that they were originally going to have 20 episodes and they cut it down to 10 Really Way the show set up went. Seems like they left a lot of stuff out.

      It makes me wonder one thing..... why tho? Why cut out over half of the show?

    The idea for Fern was good but poorly executed.
    They should've adapted Kirameiger with Fern replacing evil Ollie and Billy as silver.

    The 10 episode count and 22 minute runtime really hurt cosmic fury. You can really tell Hasbro just wanted to put out a show while they work on the reboot stuff, so only agreed for 10 episodes and it really showed. Cosmic Fury has so much potential but the fact that they were obligated to use kyuranger mech footage really hurt them. I really like cosmic fury but man did it need more episodes

    That's what I hate about Netflix shows nothing is episodic it has to spread one plot over multiple episodes.

    I don't remember it EVER being said that Rafkon had dinosaurs.

    • @rangerreview1780
      @rangerreview1780  8 месяцев назад

      The thing is. The story forced the dinosaurs being from Rafkon. Solon got her robotic parts while she was on earth, for million of years. So she was already evolved. Earth has no evolved dinos. Second, all the dinos had to be pre connected to the Morphing Grid. So the statues that housed their powers had to be made on Rafkon. If they weren't. Than the ship has the tech to connect and create a connection to the Morphing Grid, on board. Which only the staff does, in Cosmic Fury.

    The biggest point made here is that”this is why Ollie had to be evil” but it isn’t. Ollie was made evil because of some scheduling conflict.” And frankly he is the absolute worst evil Rangers ever. His suit sucks, he is as menacing as a toothbrush. And the actor is not good at it. And frankly this entire rant reeks of “I hate this because I decided to hate it before I even watched it” Heckle was an idiotic addition without reason or story. Also Heckle as the “Dark Ranger” was based on a character it took a whole team to defeat and he gets beaten by a wimp and some jokes. It’s bad. And no this needed less Ollie than it had. He’s horrible as a Villian, and his every interaction makes him look dumb and whoever he interacts with look worse. Honestly, the episode was fine. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible either.

    • @rangerreview1780
      @rangerreview1780  9 месяцев назад

      Well than. They used the Scheduling conflict in a good way to get the story to work. Don't agree on the suit sucks. - That's why I said he needed to fight the Rangers more. For that reason. He learns from Zedd. But is never there to show improvement. You can't show yourself being evil. If you get this little amount of screen time. Which is odd. If he couldn't be there. Just supply a voice like Frank did in Dinothunder. The acting. Everyone has that problem. And no. When I watched all 10 episodes in a row. I didn't hate this episode originally. When i watched it alone. Than I did. That's why I said they wrote this in the intent of watching all episodes together . So you don't pay attention to the issues. The episodes don't stand well alone.
      For Heckyl. That's another area that feels cut and lost. He has a out of universe purpose. To fix their screw up of not making him a Ranger in Dino Charge. In universe, Mick would have gone to him for help. I could see a scene with Tarak and Mick having this conversation. Since the only people that would know Heckyle wasn't evil anymore, where all killed. He be the perfect one to go right into Zedd's group. He was evil millions of years in the past. And did horrific things to be locked up in the maximum jail cell.

      @@rangerreview1780 while much of this could have been fixed with more episodes or I don’t know, don’t make Heckle a pushover. How about instead of using Ollie as the evil Ranger, given that it was done the in previous season to a resounding thud. How about this Zedd is not Zedd, he’s a version of the main villain from Kyuranger, and the Zayto that returns in the beginning isn’t Zayto, he is a fake created who we think is Zedd to draw the rangers into a fight so that Morphin Masters can be captured when they come to help the Rangers. While the fight is going on foot soldiers destroy Dinohenge. Taking out the Dino Fury Powers. The depowered rangers are saved by the Zenith Ranger. And he brings them the cosmic orbs. And go from there.

    Fern becoming a Ranger was very unnecessary, especially when the series is only 10 episodes long. I just feel like it added nothing to the team and the show.
    The zord problem also reminds me of MMPR season 2. In my opinion, other than Tommy as the White Ranger, I never got the sense that any of the other Rangers had a personal connection to their Thunderzords. Part of it is because, just like Cosmic Fury, the Ranger suits don't match the Sentai footage. But I didn't know that at the time, so for me the biggest problem was you never saw the Rangers in the cockpits of the Thunderzords (except for Tommy since his suit is from Dairanger). You only saw them all together in the Thunder Megazord cockpit. That always bugged me.
    At least in MMPR season 3 they used original footage of the Rangers in the Ninjazord and Shogunzord cockpits. For me, that helped the connection to these zords feel as organic as their connection to their Dinozords.

    Netflix did whatever Netflix does best and that is to perpetuate feminist propaganda. I honestly don't mind having a female Red Ranger, not even having a gay couple. I you want to be inclusive, where is the white, Jason-like character? Also, people wonder about Fern not earning her powers, that's not the point in my opinion. Many past Rangers didn't earn theirs either (Amelia and Olie, Javi and Izzy and so many others), so once again her morphing is not an issue, apart from the acting. But it's all about empowering the girls and make the lead, while making the boys weak (Zayto), clumbsy (Aiyon) and evil (Olie) and Billy is gay (hense the luck of seats). At least Javi became stronger, by becoming handicapper first. Netflix doesn't care for the series nor the lore nor the history. They only care about their agenda. I've seen many of their exclusive series and apart from a few (Cobra Kai for example) the agenda is what matters. And it's through the little details.
