I don't usually criticize games and the truth is that many like FIFA and many like EFootball or PES23, and that is to the liking of each person, If you like FIFA play it and if you like PES23 play it, everyone chooses the game they prefer the most... For me both games are good, it only depends on the user who decides to try and play them..
Fifa is nice in Graphic , realism and every other things , but in gameplay , Fifa can't beat Efootball . Efootball becomes downgrades but it still has the best gameplay which can make us feel like real football taste

Most of this stuff is all on the game engine. For example, Ball physics is what the game engine is responsible of but the configuration of it is on the creator. Same with the hair physics. So it’s is mainly Frostbite Engine V.S Unreal Engine. And efootball is solo created, correct me if I’m wrong.
efootball looks better in terms of pitch and stadium. the gameplay for me feels much more realistic, fifa is janky, sharp movements and sometimes the winger just runs past your player as if he is standing.
I was PES fan since ISS Pro Evolution Soccer 2 on Playstation 1. Last 4 years have been dreadful on PES. FIFA 2023 is better in every way apart from lacking some licensed teams/clubs. Have both games and i can tell you even when it comes to ball physics and "realism", FIFA is better without a doubt.

in fifa all the players take the free kick in the same way, efootball customises each player so they have their unique way of dribbling, free kick taking pens etc, even the way cr7 breathes out before a free kick, his run up and the way he stands is made like he does it irl
In the Past PES is best and fine but if compare 2023 version, FIFA 2023 indeed feel better and efootball 2023 still remain like dated. FIFA tend to be so hated cause its expensive to buy while PES previous version "mhm" (You can get it somewhere)

Kinda sad the realism in sports games is literally the same in the last 6-7 years. Not much is done to improve the graphics and the models look like toys still 15 years after they started to improve them. I think they need to learn a few things from Metahuman and Unreal Engine to at least push graphical fidelity to a 60-70% realism.
EFB way simply out of the league in terms of presenting every bits of content they had in their game. but in terms of gameplay-wise, FIFA is just miles away behind EFB.
