ABS CBN is the Philippines pride when it comes to actors and actresses, powerhouse singers and performers and now the PPOP sensation. I am really expecting something big from this since it's a collaboration of MLD and ABS and guess what, they exceed my expectations. Can We talk about the production? I am not a KPop fan so I dont know those survival shows of korea or the “produce pick me” vibe others are mentioning, so I think my opinion is purely unbiased. The production for the Philippine setting is by far setting the standard so high and my appreciation to ABS-CBN for EXPLORING and BRINGING QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT. Like WHO NEEDS FRANCHISE IN THESE DIGITAL ERA ANYWAYS.

Exposed ako sa K-pop scenes at ito yung pinaka-high quality na survival show na nakita ko general dito sa Pilipinas ( I mean like, Boyband PH, PoPinoy, and etc. na walang airing in local television channels).
I think once na magka-budget pa more sa pag-produce nito or magkaroon ng season 2 (sana for girls naman) they will elevate more the production like moving platforms at sa tingin ko kaya talagang gawin yun ng ABS-CBN, kaya more budget to come pa sana.

Usually nang hihinyang mga Filipino TV stations mag invest so much because they feel konti lang ang ma rereturn na profit/engagement/sponsorship sakanila. The mindset for them is usually basta may ma palabas lang sila, and that made them complacent and lowered the entertainment standards in Pinas, to the point where the masa thinks what Filipino TV stations are currently offering is so high budget when it isn't, and it made the people so satisfied with their low budget, repeated, cringey productions. Overall it lowered the public's standard in order to make easy money. I hope ABS CBN remains to be a cable/premium TV station to maintain and produce shows with higher production level and value, our country deserves way better entertainment.

Now that the show is over, I rewatched this to see if the camera actually highlighted all the final 7. I knew that Vinci, Marcus, Jeremy, Reyster, and Kyler got screentime. I didn't realize that Winston was also highlighted several times. I didn't really notice him until he got into the top 7. I could not find Kim so I'm guessing no one thought he would make it to the final group. He was the real surprise for the group. I was looking at the scores from the first elimination, and Kim probably would have been eliminated then if his group didn't win giving him the extra 100 points.
Dream Maker is giving me Produce 101 Japan vibes where most of them are self-trained, which is mas prefer ko. Nakakatuwa kasi tingnan at subaybayan how they will improve every episode.

I have watched every episode in Produce Japan at katulad talaga dito sa Dream maker, most of them is self-trained. At first, medyo off kasi nga iba sa nakasanayan natin sa SK na mostly ay mga trained na kaya hasang-hasa na sa pagpeperform but once na nakita na ang improvements nila every episode, mapapahanga ka nalang talaga.

Just setting proper expectations to those that want to give this show a try, majority of them have no professional trainings. Some have theater experience, previous member of a dance group, etc. but most are self-trained. If you're someone who wants to have an opportunity to be part of someone's idol journey from the beginning, then this one's your cup of tea.

Kim Chiu said na the director of this show is a Korean pati karamihan sa staffs so its no surprise bat ganto ka ganda yung quality. The stage & the background production was beautifully designed for this show. Kudos sa ABS-CBN at sa KAMP Korea at sa producers ng "Dream Maker". I'm so excited for this show and will be witnessing the journey of this boys that will debut as the next global pop group. Also the "Take My Hand" song & M/V is amazing and so very catchy to listen to your ears. 😚 So far, I'm rooting for Vinci, Marcus, Jeromy, & Asi...and just waiting for the others to complete my top 7 dreamers. 👍🏼
Totally fantastic concept. The idea behind ABC-SBN is fantastic. These channels should be given another chance because they have so far supported a lot of emerging artists. Hopefully the Boyband Ph will make a comeback, similar to Bgyo, Bini, and Boyband Ph.

The center is really doing his purpose! He catches my attention most of the time watching, He's Great! I must say...
Just my thoughts, Vinci maybe the main centre pero the second verse of the song led by KL is such a scene stealer. Ang astig at sobrang galing non tbh. When the camera turned towards Matt, sobrang astig din ng camera works na iyon and to have Matt in that centre was a delight too. Pero of course, that glitch part of Vinci was also worth mentioning!!! The last remaining scenes where Marcus and Onie were featured, that was a highlight too. Medyo nakaka-confuse lang iyong part ni JayR non, like very something… not cute. Though he looks good naman. Hindi lang cool and cute. Just an observation tho-- don’t come at me [hindi ko siya binabash, nalito lang talaga ako] all in all, Vinci carried the centre stage. Everyone seemed to be improving. Impressing work, Dreammakers!
