Funny enough Pain really COULDN’T have come with more. The whole point of him is that he has the 6 paths shared between six versions and thus each individual pain doesn’t get to actually do too much effect wise. Tendo Pain(this one) only has ethereal abilities that you can’t really see and don’t really work as accessories as they have to be bigger than him. He also only ever has those 3 expressions. Only other thing he could come with is a tiny black ball for the Chibaku Tensei but he never does that while he still has his clothes on. That happened while he was battle damaged. Obviously the cloth robe is a bit big but man it would be terrible with a sculpted robe. He would get zero upper body range. The Naruto line is the single best line from Tamashii objectively speaking. As a lover of quality I can’t not be excited for it. And I am a Naruto fan so this definitely helps. But I heard that all the releases are supposed to be connected so maybe it will play out in a arc by arc structure.
I prefer the cloth goods. You just have SO many more options for posing which makes it absolutely worth it to me. But I think this figure could've included MORE. Maybe another chakra rod and a special pair of Naruto hands that would fit the rods so you could pose Naruto pinned down.

Figures who are back heavy or light on accessories should include a stand automatically especially once they reach pains price point

I wish they still used the flexible plastic for the robes, like they did with the og Naruto sage mode flexible robe where it’s able to go off an on itachi 1.0 robe was cool to but just stayed in one spot
They said in an interview that characters released would be associated with other future releases, so when Shikamaru got announced everyone’s theorizing that the next release will be Hidan. Kinda like how Hinata matches up with the pain fight and Tsunade matches up with the 3 Sages. At the moment the only odd man out is Shikamaru. As for pain I’m super excited for but his bare bones ness really limits his posing. Some effects could’ve really made him pop or something.

Feel like he could have included some extra rods. On soft goods, I've never been a big fan of them. Even though I put figures behind a display, cleaning them seem more of a chore than just brushing dust off plastic.
Such a lackluster release for me. KCM2 Naruto came with a buttload of stuff, and even the $35 Naruto came in with more accessories. Pain is such a cool character to do this to him. I'm certainly glad I didn't preorder this. I'm still expecting the price to go up since he is a limited release, but it's just not worth it for me.
At the same time what else could he have really come with besides more faces? His main techniques aren’t even visible (almighty push and universal pull) maybe a small planetary devastation boulder?

He only ever holds one rod at a time on screen. He doesn’t have any more expressions and he shouldn’t come with Jutsu Hands because he doesn’t use any nature transformations. He should’ve just been cheaper but throwing stuff in the box to work the price is just dumb.

@@TheFakeBriskeh They can’t do something like Obito. The Akatsukis robe is a robe. Obitos clothes are drawn open at the bottom. The Akatsukis robe is made to cover their entire body.
