Keane played with Seedorf. Chose Gerrard. Keane has the better team by far. Modric and Gerrard all day every day beating a team with Scholes and Giggs. Vidic massively overrated. Shay Given is dodgy. Just about the only weakness in Keane's team.
Messi is known to not do well for his country , so don't look so good in this situation , Robbie was a delight to watch , love his mazey runs and such a nice Bloke as well.
Modric reminds me of Pirlo, very good for years but really only became World Class in their late twenties after they figured out which position suits them best. Pirlo was more entertaining to watch further forward but had far bigger influence in a deeper role. Both make it look easy.

I'm not pretending to be an expert but 5-A-Side is a different game to 11-A-Side. The pitches are small and there is a lot less space. This means there are no 40 yard balls into the box for example. Most of what Gerard was great at wouldn't translate into 5-A-Side, of course he would smash any normal human but frankly his first touch and short passing and mobility in tight areas are relatively weaker areas of his game. Same applies to Berba, great player but you can't not move in 5-A-Side, everyone has to defend. And for Rio, as far as defenders go he's top notch technically but frankly in 5-A-Side I'd give him the ball as he's the least likely to thread a pass or score. Modric is the one stand out 5-A-Side player for me. He would be knocking on the door of a world team.
I will say Gerrard was the best player at that time. modric was young so he wasn't as good as he is now. If we are talking about today then modric is the best player.
