I rarely do. But I let the dice decide for my War Cleric of Selune. Since she passed her Arcana check and knew what it was, she destroyed it. But if she had failed, she would have tried to save it.
A bit of lore about the Drow. In the Underdark there are mainly only Drow so the existence of a half Drow in the Underdark would be a impossibility. But if a half Drow came down to the Underdark to the city of Menzoberranzan they would be slaughtered by the pure bloods because they would be an abomination. Blood is everything to Drow and any taint to that is disgraceful. Also fun fact Drow Society is a Matriarchyran by several noble Matriarchs that often times fight over power and love of the Goddess Lolth. Male Drow only have two purposes: Continue the bloodline and be a Solider for their Matriarch, Mother, and Sisters.
when you fight the invoker in the underdark you can talk to the drows if they live and as a female drow i could bully him to show me respect it was very cool
I really like the Sorcerer/Draconic Bloodline option because of the unarmored +3 AC bonus, which is quite huge in the early game. Also none of the companions are sorcerers, so it feels like it balances the team nicely.
@@mishkarae It can also be changed in settings. If you´d prefer that. (I use metric IRL, but all my DnD books use feet/inches, so I´m more used to the game mechanics being that way.)
I am so glad they chose not to go the way of the sliders with the character creation. It allows your character to actually be uniquely expressive throughout the game, instead of just standing there with one of three emotions on their face: happy, angry or scared. Your character can express multiple emotions without looking wrong. You know, the way bethesda characters look by default.
I am fairly certain that the only useful aspect of having a cantrip thaf comes from multiple sources is the fact that they can scale with different things, like ability modifiers. Like in your case, the racial varsion of fire bolt scales with Int, and class version would have scaled with Charisma.
I know this was more than a month ago but I noticed that unlike most armors the paladin starting armor always clip on small female builds. If you up it to the bulky woman, they fit perfectly. Edit: also as an old time player I find it funny how basically an average intelligence (8) is considered "tanking" these days. When I was young we ROLLED 3d6 for every stat and nobody dared calling their stats "bad" unless they were 5 or lower! ;)
Long ago Gith herself, mother of the Gith race, after freeing her people from Illithid rule, descended into Hell and struck a deal with Tiamat, Queen of Evil Dragons, that red dragons would always serve the Githyanki if called to aid them, what Gith promised in return is unknown, only that she did not come back from Hell & placed a chosen queen to rule the Githyanki people in Gith's stead
Yesss I've been waiting for this, really excited to see how you find the game compared to early access! I've been having lots of excited moments, seeing places where they've just improved so much on it. Looking forward to this!
6:40 Most Drow half-elves are not raised in the Underdark because their drow parent is one of the surface dwelling drow. Most Drow who don't serve Lolth live in the former elven Court of Cormanthor on the surface. The majority of these Drow venerate Vhaeraun, the Drow god of thievery, who is still an evil god but not a xenophobe like Lolth, or Eilistraee, the only non-evil Drow godess. Both are the children of Lolth (before she became Lolth) and Corellon Larethian, the chief god of the elven pantheon. The so-called Seldarine Drow are in fact usually the followers of Eilistraee even though she is technically part of the Drow pantheon and not the Seldarine (she did not take sides in the conflict, but decided to go into exile with the Drow when Araushnee/Lolth was banished because she knew that the Drow would desperately need a more hopefull deity as well or would be truly lost). Technically this could be interpreted as Eilistraee being part of both pantheons. Non-Lolth Drow are rare to the extreme in the Underdark (mostly because they are actively hunted by the Lolth Drow) and contact between Lolth-serving drow and surface dwelling races are very rare do begin with and almost 100 % violent on top of that. If a Lolth half elf exists he/she would be extremely unlikely look like this - it would have to be a half-elf with a parent from another Underdark race, like a half-Drow-half-Duergar or something like that. 43:49 It says intelligence because the racial cantrips of High Elves is always based on intelligence, not charisma or wisdom. That's also the reason why you can pick the cantrip again - if you cast this as a sorcerer it's based on Charisma instead. The most efficient way is to pick a racial cantrip that doesn't rely on the stat to begin with: Dancing Lights, Light or Mage Hand. Picking a damage cantrips makes not much sense as racial cantrip if you play as a sorcerer because picking them as part of the class is always superior (unless you want to have another damage type available because of resistance mitigation). 1:21:48 No you cannot - sorcerers are not proficient with any armor. That's the reason why having the Mage Armor spell is usually a good idea for sorcerers and wizards. Or you have enough melee combatants in the party to protect you. PS: Can you even use your racial cantrip with an intelligence of 8? Usually you need 10 intelligence to cast int based cantrips.
yes, i'm so excited!! i remember watching your early access videos for bg3 when it first came out. the game was so new to me since i didn't know much about d&d but you made it so fun and interesting. i couldn't play the game at the time since my computer was so bad, but now that i have a nice gaming pc i can! really looking forward to your lets play, mish ❤❤
Very late, but the reason the Firebolts are diffrent is because the high-elf cantrip is always INT based, so unless you're also a wizard, probably best to take the better firebolt
Mishkaaaaaa so great to see you already started this I loved your Divinity playthrough I am sure this will be great! Nice OC. I am currently obsessing over this game as well! :) I didnt play any of the early access so it's all new and fresh to me
I'm guessing there's probably a ton of mods at this point. I wouldn't mind a video or three of you just making characters. It's rather enjoyable to watch you pick and nit-pick the options. haha
Way late saying this, but Firebolt is using Int because you chose it as your Half-Elf cantrip as opposed to your sorcerer cantrip, and the racial feature specifies Int as the ability used.
Just a heads-up for potential new viewers - this let's play contains many spoilers (since she played EA before). If you are looking for an immersive (or blind) playthrough, look somewhere else.
Elf race comes with proficiency in perception, so you didn't need to take a background that comes with it, and Sorcerer can choose persuasion as a class skill already. The ASI allows you to raise 1 attribute by 2 OR 2 attributes by 1 so most try for 1 stat at 15, and 1 at 17 so you can raise to states to the next level at once.
I dont understand why you would pick two of the same cantrip. Forgetting the complication of the ui and the racial int vs class charisma version you had the chance for another extra spell.
It literally said it would be different if I took it a second time, so I thought there might be something useful, but no. Doesn't really matter, either way - it's pretty much the only cantrip I use~
It saddens me to such great extents that litterally everyone destroys the brain at the beginning...he is such a nice pet to bring with you...
He sounds so cute, too~

Yes 1.5m is about 5 feet. I think the actual conversion is like 3ft 3inch per meter.
Good to know! ^^ And thank you~

It's ridiculous how enjoyable just watching people create their characters is.
I get way too much enjoyment out of making characters 😂
I only like it if it's Mishka, her honesty and sazzzzzz is the best

I'm so excited to see how this is going to play out past the early access area, and also about the branching paths this game is going to have!!
I am fairly certain that the only useful aspect of having a cantrip thaf comes from multiple sources is the fact that they can scale with different things, like ability modifiers. Like in your case, the racial varsion of fire bolt scales with Int, and class version would have scaled with Charisma.
I love that you upload daily. Not gonna lie, i don't watch you everyday but when i am able to watch your vids i do. I love your content.

I hate that the tadpoles have just a little bit of hair, just imagine that texture squishing its way past your eyes.
Why did you have to make it even worse? 🤣
2:55 seeing thing this close is also not physically possible 😂

Your character is probably the best I've seen yet.
Great to see this as always I enjoy watching you create characters, its so much fun.

ni-neh-veh and neh-veh-eh are both three syllables.
I meant letters, rather than syllables~
would have been cool if they added the winter witch class
fyi, when you're grouped you're in a group. when you're ungrouped you're not in a group ;p
You are technically correct, the best kind of correct

Can we get a second channel where you do nothing but character creations and criticizing designs from video game characters like Genshin or FF? 😂
😂😂 I would rather enjoy that~

Me too!~
Lol. Is Baldurs Gate on Pern? 😮 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
