Thank you for a very comprehensive and honest review. I have been using the Lead Out saddle bag for about 18 months. I have started looking for something a little larger as I generally ride in remote areas and have found that I need more storage space without going the full bike packing route. It looks like this frame bag will fit my purposes. Thanks again.
It depends on the size of the lock. Lead Out! has a great diagram with all the dimensions so you could use that to see if your lock would fit - leadoutgear.com/products/lead-out-mini-frame-bag/
It's a size large. I'd recommend measuring your bike and comparing it to the dimensions of the bag listed on Lead Out! product page to confirm that it will fit. Unless you have a size small / XS frame, the bag itself isn't particularly large.
@@TheSweetCyclists will measure and compare. Mine is size 52 road bike. Just want a small bag to put power bank and some food. I hav top tube bag but i wud like to buy this and have more comfort.
@@sriabhi Sounds good - it's a convenient alternative to saddlebags. Note, one minor issue I have with the bag is that my insulated 24oz bottle nozzle rubs against the bag. For larger water bottles you may need to shift your water bottle cage further down.

do your knees hit at all whether you are standing or sitting?
No, the bag sits flush inside the frame. Most frame bags / top tube bags aren't wider than the frame which avoid the potential for rubbing.
Can this bag fit a u lock in the bigger pouch?

Can you remove the Velcro straps on the top or are they sewn into the pack?
Good question - yes the top three velcro straps can be removed from the sewn in loops.
How do the bungee cords attach?
You simply loop the adjustment end through the other end of the cord. It's surprisingly effective and keeps the bag from swaying side-to-side.
