Beautiful looking car, always loved the lock of this particular variant, especially in the red/orange with the black (as opposed to grey) plastic body strip and the solid roof as it mitigated the chance of leaks
It there are buttons for the heated seats it means they are fitted and should work. These would have blanks in place of the buttons if not filted. If they're not working then it's probably the relays which is common on these. If the button illuminates for a few seconds then goes off, it's likely the heating elements are knackered due to water ingress.
@@SmallCarsDirect Also check the fuse box if you haven't already. I can't remember if there is one for both or two fuses for the seats. I sold my two Brabus Roadsters quite a while ago.
The roof is going to be trash soon. The clicking is a worn gear cog and it's stripping the drive cables every time it clicks. Expensive to fix especially if it jams the wires as it snaps.
Yep, plastic parts are quite difficult to get but I now have access to the 3D models of those parts. I did change the cog on mine as well as the drive cable. The roof can actually be pulled of the car very easily (11 bolts total !) and it becomes quite easy to work on. Some people ask for a fortune to repair them but it's really quite easy once you get it.
I have an identical roadster. The roofs should slide up without assistance. The noise u hear on the video means the roof drive gear is stripped which isn't to expensive however if the roof material is knackered its around £1000. Still a brilliant car though... I've had mine 11 years .....I love it

Nice, no illumination at all so may well
Be relays 🙌

Hi :) I currently have this car... and the radio is locked! do you have the code? Thank you
Hi Ben, we did reply back, please check junk or spam, but essentially I would contact smart to obtain the code
Does it leak?
It didn’t when we sold it, might do now however
roadsters were only made until 2005
So you think this one was just registered a couple years after build?
@SmallCarsDirect yeah there were quite a few registered a year or more later after they were builld
That roadster does not look like a brabus versión, it does not have the identification badge in the interior
It isn’t, sorry, did I say it was?
@@SmallCarsDirect nope it was my mistake, sorry mate, I confused the finale edition with the brabus edition,I have a 2003 roadster 82 Hp
@@aketza7395 they are fantastic, do you enjoy it?
@@SmallCarsDirect I freaking love it but at the top lf the clock I can feel that it needs a little bit more power
