Big news when it was vandalised too, i remember my uncle saying "Did you hear Ballinspittle statue was smashed to pieces?... yeah it was running across the road and when it was hit by a car". Cheers re Garrett. I look back at Christian only a couple of years back and see how much he has changed. Funny joke, I’ll watch the vid you recommend. It’s still a very popular site - a lot of people called for a quick prayer and then gone. Funny ole world…
I watched that - fascinating really… I couldn’t help but think the statue up close looked like a mannequin and I wondered if many had seen it as close as I had via a zoom lens? Religion is a mystery to me these days…
@@The_Rainmaker Yep, me too but happy enough with that because certainty seems to cause problems. You're right about the statue, for some reason I thought it was more detailed.
