This track defines an era where people of any age, race, creed and caste were spitting the same lines, and anyone who could spit the verses in same speed was flexing lol.. People may keep complaining about him but Raftaar is a founding pillar of Desi hip hop...
This song is revolutionary, that attracted mass towards the hiphop..u don't have any idea about the craze of this song back then when it was released, when there was expensive internet..at that time, this song came and booooom like atom bomb💣💥...this song is legendary🙌🔥🔥..
This track is what made the brand Raftaar, also the first time i ever heard a proper rap track by a dhh artist. This was the start of dhh for me personally that's how BIG this track is for me and a lot of people
In today's terms we can find 100 follies in this song, but when this song actually dropped... the hip-hop scene in India was on a completely different tangent, as Honey Singh was the one torch-bearer of it. This song turned public heads toward actual rapping and the hip-hop scene, spitting these verses was the epitome of being cool in the school friend groups. What DHH especially IHH is now, owes a lot to this song, if not for the makers' end, but surely from listeners. Ps- Bohemia was there from before, and was quite popular... but the audience was very few back then, and he wasn't mainstream. This song blew the mainstream scene.
@@ParkedUpAnywhere You can react to "Desi HipHop", it had some contemporary underground artists... it might not have subtitles... but still something that can give a sneak peek to the past. (Some verses are in English).
Remembered school days when I learn the whole verse and rapped in annual function this song🥰😘😘. . In India many people know what is rap after this song raftaar inspired a lot of rappers🙏🙏❤❤
@@ParkedUpAnywhere great to see that you're not bashing on raa for those wack Lyrics lmao I am glad that you tried to be in our shoes to understand that Hip Hop Wasn't such a big thing in India back in those days
That was my first track that I translated , that's why the subtitles ain't that accurate . I translated this track with their exact translation and not with the context lol 💀
The Track Was Released In 2014 And We Are Reacting It In 2022 So Only Not You I Also Know It Is just Descent One ! But Back Then This Song Bringed Out The Exposure Of Hip Hop In India ! ❤️
To give you some insight about the song, It had some subliminals for Honey Singh..This was the song which literally elevated Raftaar in the industry.. We use to flex in our class by spitting Raftaar's verse during our school time..🙃 Also Raftaar and Manj Musik are not on good terms currently and Manj have switched to Emiway's side and have been constantly putting out stories for Raftaar and how he made what he's today.. #JustAnother 🐍
Manj Musik and Raftaar this duo was legendary then and now they both hate each other Don't know what happened but it's sad Nowadays Manj Musik put insta stories trolling and hating on Raftaar every chance he gets
🤣🤣🤣in India people who knows hip hop they know why Eminem is rap god bt rest know him rap god cs he raps fast so that's why raftaar was saying "you thought Eminem was only rap god".
Bro maybe it's for you some simple music video but for us that was first proper hip hop (not talking about underground rap scene)....and we all tried to mimick raftaar...even in school we always bet who sings fast verse by raftaar in same speed...this song is my childhood memories 🥺.... Whatever people say but the maturity and vibe he has no one else can ever have 🙌....he's main pillar of DHH ❤️
To be really honest, I used to be in highschool when song was released and my whole school was crazy about Raftaar coming up and spitting these kind of verses. We used to learn and then spit those verses together while shouting and running in the school corridors. Raftaar might not be the Eminem for the world, but for initial Hip Hop fans in India, he is the rap god.
This song is an all-time banger for sure. I think this was the first hip hop track which I heard, Love Raftaar's flow. Apart from this, this is also a subliminal diss towards Honey Singh (Most hyped Hip Hop Artist at that time). The allegation was Honey Singh had copied songs from Raftaar/Badshah(Not sure which one of these or both) and didn't give them credits. Raftaar, Badshah and Honey were all part of "Mafia Mundeer" group which also had Ikka and Lil Golu.
It's just a track to make impact and give the audience flavour of real desi rap. It changed the game for sure. Technically you can find flaws but it made an impact. Also raftaar never meant to compare to em. It's just that in India Em's rap god was super famous only fast rap track to blow up in india. So he referenced rap god and meant that desi people can also rap and rap fast. Not as much as em of course. But desi can also do rap. That's what the song wanted to do and it succeeded because it made desi people they can do it as well.
My biggest flex in 8th class was that I can spit these three verses in same speed in front of my classmates
✊🏻❤️
lol me too
Us moment
Me : when I was in my college final year

no doubt
I hadn't like it , because he compares himself to em. Not 1% of any em song.
@@mannug7275 it wasn't a hateful comparison though, just says that there can be more than one rap god in the scene...
@@mannug7275 bro he was 25-26 old lad, with boiling blood and didn't had the level of maturity which he have now.

Eminem is only rapgod.
That was just some flex by raftaar, he never claimed himself rapgod or rapper like Eminem.
