Damn!! You just described what I know has been happening in my life - AND what I have been working on for the past 20 years to change. Having a Scorpio N. Node and a Leo ascendant (goat Sun) has been a ball when I was younger, but now things are getting real and the shift is imperative. I actually LIKE it. Thanx for your perspective 🙏🏽
This is absolutely true of me. I felt for the longest time that everything I got was due to hard work and not because I deserve good things. I was brought up with this belief. As I let go of working so hard I met my partner who is very fulfilled by the idea of taking care of me. I dont like the idea of being taken care of. But as I allow him to do more for me I feel like I am for the first time relaxing into life. Life never before felt relaxing for me. It helps that he has a cancer north node and fulfills his north node path of being the nurturer. I have a scorpio sun too and scorpios do not relinquish their idea of independence and power easily 😍 Thanks Alyssa, you are a true gem!!
This was a great interpretation. I have this placement and my ex had a Scorpio moon. All he tried to do was pull me out of my bs and help me not have to do everything on my own. And I just couldn't accept it because he came off very harsh. But now learning about nodes, I realize he taught me so much about money and guarding my energy, in such a short time. And that it really was out of love. He probably saw in me a younger, naive version of himself.

Every Taurus NN I know seems to eat too much carbs and sugar LOL. But when they start working out/ living more actively (putting that stubborn will to great use) and wearing black, skin-clinging clothes, they start looking real good.

I've been working towards graphic design since high school only to come to a point of surrender in college. On my path towards graphic design, I lost my flash drive a few times, I've had several computers crash on me, I've lost or misplaced some great work, and little did I know that they were signs alerting me that I was on the wrong path!
I don't go to college anymore, (I can't even graduate because i lost my needed artworks!) even though I'm still enrolled...but if I continued down that path, I wouldn't have been happy...
I truly was not passionate about graphic design, i did it because I had to choose some field in school and graphic design was the one I chose with partial interest...
I think Scorpio North Node wants us to be passionate about what we want/need in life. It's either all or nothing... I was not all for graphic design. It did not make me happy.
I have my SN in the 2nd house and my entire family lineage is farmer background...and they're all hoarders and gave me ugly sweaters when I was a kid and expected me to wear them. And me and my siblings were like "this is ghetto trash", and we didn't wear any of it.

Girl, that speaks to me! I've read about this placement before, but I've never had a sentence that quite cut to the center like that. As I Virgo AC, I've experienced my fair share of mistrust in other people's ability to do things for me. I find that this describes a different part of me though. My Ascendant says, "Don't worry, I can do it better." My South Node says, "I don't care. I don't want your help. I can do it on my own. I'd rather do that than ask for input and feel vulnerable to someone else."

Video was kinda short! Was hoping you would shed more light on what it means to go through a Scorpio transformation, and what happens when our saturn(I think?) return happens at around 27-28 years of age, but I don't think you did that with any S/N video, but you did pack a lot of info and interesting way of looking at it in 3mins. I'm Pisces with moon and MC in Virgo, both opposite my sun, with my south node in the 6th house (house of Virgo). Growing up I was very sensitive and allowed my feelings to rule me, then I finally said forget it, and closed myself off, allowing my emotionless Virgo side to make sense of things, and trust that guidance. which I didn't really mind tbh. Virgo really knew how to convince my Sun and Sag rising into things and make them believe "all is well on the surface, just keep day dreaming and being emotionally distant. your imagination allows you to go anywhere, I'll take care of all the useless down on earth day-to-days" which I guess worked and as you can imagine, didn't win me a lot of friends (not that I cared, it all "made sense" in the eyes of Virgo, a necessary sacrifice for comfortablity so there weren't "useless" feelings that can get hurt and cause myself discomfort) and kinda just lived in my head,
far far away and just went on Virgo auto-pilot. seems like to me Virgo also has control of my south node which is reeeeaaallly tough for me to get by, due to my Pisces looking to my feelings, but Virgo rules my emotions and it channels everything into my south node of comfortablity... my saturn is also conjunct my sun in Pisces. right now I've found a way for my sag rising to convince my Virgo to allow growth and learning, but I'm going to have to make my sun/ego shine bright in order to really change anything, but it's just so hard. whenever I think about it, it makes me feel exhausted and my Pisces just doesn't keep the drive. the only way so far I can make sense getting out of this is by coming into my higher self, but I'm trying to do that through comfortablity and doing it by myself... I don't envy the me that will eventually be forced to go through this transformation, but I idolize the me that it becomes... Scorpio in north node means somethings gotta die and idk what. I don't think I'm supposed to until it happens. I just have to trust in my rising to carry my sun through it and never settle for what is more comfortable and makes sense! world is a crazy place, but I believe my imagination is better and will never fail me (which from the perspective of comfortablity makes more sense more than putting myself out there where there is a chance of getting hurt right?). life's full of ups and downs, and I've gotta take a few L's in the near future for anything to change. Pisces needs to stop trusting Virgo with everything and take over as my Sun should. My rising will be there every step but will only be able to fully shine once my Sun/Moon fiasco is figured out! Virgo is a mutual aspect, it's not supposed to be in the cardinal spot in me, I need to let it flow, not avalanche over everything (I never really write comments, but when I do, jeez they are long ramblings of narcissistic theories... and terrible grammar and made up words like "comfortablity")! also it's kinda funny a Libra's advice would be to find someone who can kinda guide us out of our comfort zone, seems fitting! Or maybe my S Node is using my Virgo to comfort me. I was wondering why that all felt like I was blaming Virgo for everything. That seems stupid seeing as when i use Virgo to aide Pisces and Sag, i feel right, like a flowing river. My person is at fault. I'm giving way too much to Virgo and overloading it causing a avalanche. I need to follow my N. Node in order to clear the blockage in between my signs so that they can all flow into the same lake and be in harmony with each other. Thanks Alyssa!

Yea this is true, every time i do work related and school related things. something bad happens that delays it. i even feel lost and confuse on where im going in life. i even gave up im not even looking for fame or anything spirituality is what really matters . also got this conjunct with my venus jupiter and pluto in the 9th house. any other tips for the north node in scorp? still kind of feel Lost..
I've noticed this too with my Scorpio North Node/Taurus South Node. I wonder if there is a connection to work (Taurus) and stubbornness (also Taurus). Since those are our South Node traits, maybe we have to transcend past some bad habit we have.
EX) When I do school work, I tend to do things like I'd done in high school. DOING THINGS ALONE USED TO WORK SO WELL! Now... I've found that I've really needed to dive into learning new skills these last few years. One of the hardest things I've done is opened up to my friends and family about some of my struggles with school. It absolutely sucked, but something about talking about my experience helped me see ways to improve.

Hey Alyssa, New subscriber here! I noticed that when using Vedic astrology (sidereal) chart my North Node is placed here and I can Identify with it way more than when using Tropical where my North Node is placed in Saggitarrius. Is this possible?

My partner and I have this and we've been together 21 years. It has helped us, but it is tricky. I feel like we exampled for each other the qualities we need to each adapt. The tricky part is like running in two different directions and trying to pass the baton to one another. Hope that makes sense?

I don't get it either Gabriele Piazza. I do things myself and it's usually the hard way, but I thought that was my Saturn in Sagittarius 2H. My NN is Scorpio 1st H. I wanted to hear more about evolving into Scorpio NN. If it's finding someone to "help" me evolve, I thought that was the guy who became my ex. Who happens to be a narcissistic psychopath.

I do have a question (and if you have time to answer this, a general answer, instead of one for each planet is just fine!): what about when a planet conjuncts the south node? My mom's moon in Cancer is opposite her north node in Capricorn; yea, and that Cancer moon is in her 10th house. My sister's Jupiter in Taurus conjuncts her south node in Taurus,... my Venus conjuncts my south node in Gemini. How, if at all, can we delineate the difference between the operations of the south node and the planet conjuncting it, and still get out of the "south node rut" without losing the power, presence, skills and talents of the planet the south node is with?

What if my venus is conjunct my scorpio 10th house north node? Makes me a bit confused.
Amateur here, but I think that points to a desire to connect with other people and transform into a better you in your public life. The tenth traditionally gets interpreted as career, but Alyssa has talked about how it can be your public persona as well. The Venus is conjunction probably means that somehow you always end up in situations where people at school or at work just really want to get to know you. People find you... just cool to be around. With the Scorpio here, you may be kind of shy about that, but you probably secretly like it that people find you fascinating.
