They are trained to show dominance by walking toward you as an act of assertion. When they do that, DO NOT move back but stand your ground, they will likely then make physical contact with you which is unlawful and will be assault..... You then have them bang to rights for a law suit.
They did it at South Shields about 4 hours ago funny enough and i did not move this time, toe rag put his hand on me so i got him told. Keep an eye out in a few weeks.
Matt I really like your vids but I do think you could handle this better:
Question 1: Why have you been stopped - this would need to be something under the road traffic act, not just for shits and giggles from them/
Question 2: Whats your reason for travel - no comment.
Question 3: Breaching covid - that stopped being applicable 2 and half months ago.
Question 3 - it’s an older video. Question’s 1 & 2 remain pertinent.
Was the covid fines and they caught me off guard with a traffic stop and i was under the impression you had to give details and my concentration failed me! Fluffed it but know to handle it better if it happens again
I would insist on reading their notes, in their note books and adding your comments and signing it. For each PC, written separately.
Looking in there note book can you real do that I would've thought so?🤔
@@victoriaminns6436 Yes. They are the rules.
You can insist on reading their notes, and you can make observations and sign it.
The problem for these police is that its then read by their superiors, and has to be produced in court if demanded.
www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/50159/response/127822/attach/3/National%20Guidance%20on%20Using%20a%20Pocket%20Notebook.pdf
You may use the notebook to refresh your memory when giving evidence,
providing the court is satisfied that the entries were made at the time of the
offence or incident or as soon as practicable afterwards.
The general rule is that it
should be used to record all information or intelligence relating to offences
and other events or incidents that come to notice, where it is likely that a
report or statement will have to be completed.
=======
So that includes the names of the people making the complaint. So in this case the observation that the crime was laughing.
For example, a record must be
made of the description of any suspect as first given to you by a witness.
========
Again the bet is they didn't do this.
========
• Names and addresses of victims, offenders, witnesses and informants
should be recorded. Additional information about the offender may be
relevant depending on the incident.
========
I bet they didn't. In lots of cases, they create "witnesses" or "complainants.
========
A note should be made of any comments made by a person suspected of
committing an offence whether these comments are in response to your
questions or not. The person should be invited to read the note and write
an endorsement to the effect that ‘I certify that this is a true and accurate
record of the conversation that took place’. This should be signed by the
suspect and the officer as the conversation may be construed to be an
interview. If the suspect does not consider it to be correct, he or she
should be invited to indicate which details are considered to be inaccurate
and to sign a record of those details.
==========
This is the killer bit.
Particularly when you have video evidence of asking to sign the note book.
I would insist that there are no gaps to fill in bits after you signed it. etc.
11.30, why did they open your door without permission ?
That psycho threatened you with violence if you ever got sentenced, meaning he already inflicts violence on the men incarcerated there.
Can't understand why you spill your guts for a traffic stop, carry you licence, copy of insurance, copy of MOT, copy of road fund licence receipt, and show them. Where you've been; where you going; what you're doing has NOTHING to do with a traffic stop, it's a totally different matter entirely.
Was the covid fines and they caught me off guard with a traffic stop and i was under the impression you had to give details and my concentration failed me! Fluffed it but know to handle it better if it happens again
Why carry anything except your driver's licence. Everything else can be verified by a basic vehicle checking app.
That one screw is more bent than a £3 note. I guarantee he dishes out his own punishment on the inmates.
Yep, would put money on it, think he basically admitted it with his comment...
How goodie, they got your details and quickly ran your details hoping to incriminate you. What pleasure you gave them.
Auditing 101 FAIL.. park the car were they can't find you..and don't give them ANY info..
Commenting 101 fail...
Talking rubbish...!
Matt has been followed to his car before, he would have taken every step possible to avoid the car getting pinged.
Once he's with the vehicle, he HAD to give details, its the law !
I was at traffic lights and they u turned and followed me down the dual carriage way, tried to out run them but ended up with 3 of them on my tail. They must of been on the look out in the area and i matched the description
@@leathleyg5995 Well if he had been more stealthy he wouldn't have been caught=FAIL
@@mat12128 Change your jacket, put a hat on..
Why are you freely giving them so much information and explaining yourself to them? As far as I’m aware there’s no covid restrictions for travelling inside the country?
This was back in March... listen to the upload kid
Was the covid fines and they caught me off guard with a traffic stop and i was under the impression you had to give details and my concentration failed me! Fluffed it but know to handle it better if it happens again
Never use your own car. They have the power to get ID. Good that you had all your paperwork to prove you are working.
Why were they questioning your reason for travelling, etc? I didn't think there are restrictions on that anymore.
Older vid
Matt you fell straight into their lap without any fight, and why tell them you get an income from RUclips....
Was the covid fines and they caught me off guard with a traffic stop and i was under the impression you had to give details and my concentration failed me!. Fluffed it but know to handle it better if it happens again
I like his style, non confrontational and always polite.
Thought there was no travel restrictions for Covid now??
God does he not stop to breathe when talking
I don't believe it. That HMP have the audacity to even put a children's playground outside a prison
If those prison officers had been professional and polite the whole incident could of been avoided
Why is this traffic officer, taking about breaking covid, and travel, I cannot find anything stopping you, going into or out of, Wales ???. Mat hope you fight those ILLEGAL covid fines. Stay safe, love the videos
10.01 - “see you later numb nuts. I like your ponytail.”
Brilliant!
The Whip-pan at the window was hilarious 😄😂😂
Spreading grass seed is a serious and high priority crime for the Hedlu at the minute ...
Imagine being ordered off a public road by My Little Pony.
When the call came in, someone should have asked what crime Had been committed..
None!
One question could have saved the police valuable time and resources that could have been used investigating crime
Note for Matti Blagborough, time for a visit with your colleagues to take a packed lunch and sit at the table and benches.
What a prick that sausage was !!! How would you like him to be looking after you in prison ??? What an asshole !!! Well done Mat !!!
They didn't pull you over for a traffic stop, so you didn't have to ID
"What's your reason for travel?"
-What's your reason to being STASI?
That bird isn't daft it knows it's safe 😂 amazing how the wire doesn't bother birds 😊
You need to hand them a simple letter that informs them of your intent to file civil suit against them in their civil capacity for any and all infringements on your rights. Then hand them your license and say nothing. You make the mistake to often of engaging with them, they are not being friendly , they are following their training to incriminate you for anything that they can get you on and by talking to them you are making their job easier for them.
Rule No 1 with the police : say nothing
Rule No 2 with the police : repeat rule 1
Just for future reference, Mat, at 7:42 should be “chronological order”. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
😑😘
Who are the dumbest? Security guards or prison guards? Actually it's both!
Too much information matt
They said it was due to a complaint from the prison. It wasn't a traffic stop. So they are getting info under false pretenses. Sneeky sods. Abuse of power.
As I've said before. Supply your ID. Kids birthdays. Mums maiden names.
Same old question:
If they treat the Public with such contempt, how do they treat the people "in their care" ????
Worrisome !!
Guard: You're breaking the law. You know it.
Socrates: Yikes! Can it be mended?
Guard: You're breaking the law.
Socrates: Yikes! Is it beyond repair?
There's nothing you could do about giving details once they use Section 164 and 165 of the Traffic Act. It's a shame they use this to identify you for something unrelated. You disarmed them with your explanations, it worked this time, but by talking too much you could incriminate yourself. I'm sure next time you'll keep it to a minimum.
Was the covid fines and they caught me off guard with a traffic stop and i was under the impression you had to give details and my concentration failed me! Fluffed it but know to handle it better if it happens again
State of his hair man. 😂😂😂
Prison officers have to be operated on before they are offered the job. The operation is to remove their social skills.
She should of stated the act before requesting your details.
New subsciber love what u guys, do i follow, alot of auditors
When are these public servants going to learn that filming is not a crime. CANON is a make not a weapon of mass destruction.
OH.they didn't tell us that at training school.
😡😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Hi Mat don't listen to wannabe Wolfe Smith types. Style is good, you don't need to be arrogant and you will be around when they are all gone.
Cheers mate, Was the covid fines and they caught me off guard with a traffic stop and i was under the impression you had to give details and my concentration failed me! Fluffed it but know to handle it better if it happens again
You've lost your bottle...
Just temp misplaced it, was the covid fines and they caught me off guard with a traffic stop and i was under the impression you had to give details and my concentration failed me!. Fluffed it but know to handle it better if it happens again
You tell them too much. No need to tell em your income from google!
So was that a traffic stop under section 163 or a stop because you had been filming, they cannot combine them and do what they want.
163 is just a stop, 164/5 vailid reason for stop, if valid, details may be asked for. in this instance, no moving traffic violation so unlawful detainment
@@qtube1980 I missed the 1
@@qtube1980 They don’t need valid reason to ask for details.
Section 1a simply states “Power of constables to require production of driving licence and in certain cases statement of date of birth.
(1)Any of the following persons-
(a)a person driving a motor vehicle on a road
@@edwardryan3011 you’re wrong unless you’re not talking about the UK.
In this country, If you’re a driver in charge of a vehicle on a public road you can be stopped at any time and you’re required to give your details. S163, 164 and 165 of the road traffic act pertain to this. No mention in the legislation for “reason for the stop”
@@edwardryan3011 NO. You are missing the point. The police abuse their authority constantly. They fail to abide by there own Code of Ethics, and Code of Conduct all the time. They bend the law, break the law and disregard the law. But in this instance, if he’s driving they can stop him WHEN they want and WHY they want. If the Police are going to be held accountable then you (all of us) need to get your facts CORRECT.
Next time at a prison point your camra on the roof and shout " Jump mate I'll catch you" and see what happens
Laughing - That's the reason for the stop.
So what are they going to put down on the producer?
Can I have a shot for the thumbnail? “No!!” 😂😂
;)
The PO should not be wearing his key pouch at the back.
Just thinking there, dont forget to tell your insurance you use your car for work
Hello from Trinidad and Tobago Caribbean 🇹🇹❤️
disgraceful . thanks for the update
You should ask them if they are being payed.
The way you handled the police was embarrassing. I couldn’t stop cringing.
