The money doesn't go to the temple, temples are controlled by state government(temple committee) and all the funds goes to government. People still donate because temples used to help people in need( Hindu people believe in law of karma so they donate whole heartedly), but now politics has destroyed that connection between temples and devotees. A temple is a soul of any community and previous government has managed to imprison that soul. Those laws doesn't apply to churches and mosques(secularism. Lol) Temple asset belong to Hindu people and they can do whatever they want with it.

@@mauronicolo89 There is a different between poor people's in india and other countries. Indian poor people's can eat healthy foods, buy new clothes, watch movies, travel in bus or train , and many of poor people in India live in their own house.

In Hinduism donation is necessary people donate according to their financial condition..... Some donate milk,fruit,grains ,money .even gold and diamonds are very common because Indian is third billionaire country.......and congrats us because according to new reports India is worlds 6th richest country.....
