I ended up returning the Armani bronzer cuz it said on Nordstroms that it’s made in Paris. But in fact it’s made in China. Also I agree the tone is more orange.
Aramni made in China at that price? Who knew!!
Of all the complexion products, bronzers are my #1!!!

I just picked up YSL in shade #2, you look stunning in it (I already have shade #3).
Used your Selfridges link .... was trying to post about the deal they're currently running, for YSL.. but I think YT has deleted it. There is an additional 2 0 % off, once you add to cart (you don't see it before. Also, it doesn't work for the US)
I like that you’re so thorough when swatching and describing products.
My favourite bronzers I have at the moment are Dior forever natural 05 warm bronze, RMS tan lines and of course my longtime owned physicians formula deep bronzer, which I travel with because it’s cheaper and if it breaks I won’t be as upset.
This video is EXACTLY what I've been waiting for. thank you! I've been looking at all of these and trying to decide which to get. I needed these comparisons.

You need to try shade 4 in the RMS bronzer called bikini beach-it’s a hint redder in colour than tan lines-quite similar to the Gucci 02 just more luminous 💞😘

@@CharlotteHoldcroft ♥️ I got beach walk Betty as I have fair skin then decided I needed bikini beach as a contour as it has a red undertone…..then saw your review on tan lines and just “had” to purchase that too!!!🫣 I am definitely on your naughty step for your”do u really need to buy that” 😂😂😂😂 But they are absolutely beautiful and I love there luminous glow which I can make all work on my fair skin. I didn’t get the Malibu one though as it looked more warm 😇😂 As always thank you for your fantastic reviews Charlotte 💕

That’s a great tip about hard pan! In the past I took a safety pin and just scraped the surface. Nothing tops Gucci in the bronzer category for me. The packaging is Divine and the color Fair is hands down the best neutral bronzer shade I have ever found. Love your reviews ❤❤

My checkbook did not want me to LOVE the YSL bronzer, but I did. The undertone works so well for me, its just so smooth. I have not tried a RMS bronzer yet, but they are all over my social media feeds, so I will wait till the spotlight dies a bit and I am closer to the YSL being empty.
With the RMS refills, they save money and the environment with less plastic. LOVE THAT!! The beauty industry as a whole needs to do better with that.

Could you show real face application of bronzers pls? Hand swatches really don't demonstrate all the features that each bronzer entails, though you described them very accurately..... thanks 😊

Of all these new bronzers & the kazillion that I own, nothing compares to my Tom Ford terra. I am enjoying RMS in Beachwak Betty but more for summer. Dior 04 & Gucci 01 are also favourites.
Totally agree! Absolutely love my Tom Ford Terra bronzer. I am still salty with them discontinuing the larger size. Considering this is the only bronzer that I managed to fully hit pan and use up 2 of the larger sizes (while still using other bronzers too). I was lucky managed to pick up a few backups of the larger sizes size before they discontinued it.
The small Tom Ford Terra is always out of stock. I was trying so hard to buy one for my Christmas gift but it is still sold out in all the stores.
I’m a medium skin tone and still like the armani #90 shade better…For more of a slight natural bronze and i love the neutral tone it gives. You might want to give it a try!
I bought the RMS bronzer in the lightest shade. It is my favourite bronzer too. Prior to this, the lightest shade in Gucci was my favourite.
I wish Gucci would come out with shade lighter than fair
I loved this overview, dear Charlotte, and, i love all English speaking RUclipsrs, and yes, what i see here below, British accent is sooo elegant always! Living in The Netherlands, Charlotte, they try to learn us UK English, but most of what is getting in our heads from TV and internet is of course American English, which is not a problem! But i think that's why, we Dutch have that mixed pronouncation, i always, always and always hear it!😂Your accent however, is so lovely!!!! The bronzers, i refused purchasing one other bronzer after everything to warm lately, but i puchased the Yves Saint Laurent bronzer, shade 2, it's really neutral, really matte, not my top 3, but top 5, love it! As much as I literally ADORE my Gucci 02 for my complexion, I use just a a tap or two of my brush against the side of the compact before applying, or else I get holy pigmentation Batman! It does look just right in tone and finish, though. Oddly, I really want that RMS Tan Lines now though, too. For days when I want to be glowing and have some luminosity!
I like Armani the best, I tried it in Boots and it is lovely, plus the pan is really big and I like the tones.
I want a new bronzer every summer. When I actually have a tan and know it will be too dark this winter… but I’m still in the market! Thank you Charlotte. I respect your advice.

Im in Love with the Armani bronzer...finally a perfect shade for my complexion. The gold flecks don't show upnor i dont notice even in sunlight. I have the RMS and really like it but their darkest isn't dark enough and I'm only Medium Tan.

I absolutely love all of RMS’ products. I usually don’t like everything in one line but with RMS I wear a whole face of RMS with the exception of mascara because Jones Road has all mascara beat for me. But now I wear all RMS all over and under my face. And this is a first for me and I am 66 years old. I live all you5 videos thank you for them all!

I love bronzer a little too much. My favorite summer releases are from Armani, Makeup by Mario, and Saie. I know the latter two are better for contour (at least on me). I wanted to love RMS’ bronzer so badly but the undertones are literally grey on my skin🤷🏽♀️. The YSL is my second favorite. Great post!

I have quite a few bronzers and Nars Laguna and Gucci’s in shade 2 are my favorites.
I currently have the YSL lightest shade of bronzer. I love it so much I have already hit pan. I only bought it a few months ago!
I bought the Gucci in Feb because of your love for it and I've no regrets. It's so beautiful in the skin
I would say for me Gucci is still the best ( even though I love now a new Chanel with a blush bronzer). Let’s see how Lancôme will work out when it gets to US😉

And thanks for comparing the undertones of all of these, as I am neutral-cool olive and the struggle I have always had for *years* is bronzers turning “orange” on me very easily. I was interested to hear your experience with the Gucci one in terms of it being very pigmented, because I have the first shade and find it not at all pigmented and not very easy to build up.
I got the armani and also the lancome x Louvre palette after you told us about the Selfridge's sale . Goodness me!! Outstanding!! I also love the Vieve powder bronzers as there are 2 in a set, with varying undertones, beautiful packagingetc. And also, L'Oréal infallible matte bronzer..its pretty awesome ❤
I just bought one of the Ere Perez bronze/blushers in the darker shade (Brooklyn) and decided to get the other one since I love this one so much. The formula is incredible and it really suprised me how much I love it. The other shade I got (ROMA) is lighter but supposedly had that rosier tone to it (plus the bronze) so I figured that would be great for me in the winter. The reviews on these powders is SO good and I have to say I was totally impressed with the one I got.

I've been making myself crazy trying to compare color tones, so your side by side swatch comparisons, along with your in depth formula/application description just sealed my decision! I have most of these bronzers, and without doubt, the Lancome is my absolute favourite. I am fair skinned with a neutral/cool undertone. The Armani shade 90 is too orange toned, RMS beachwalk betty looks like my blusher went out of control as it is too pink based on me, and the Gucci is lovely, but too reddy based for me

I went with the RMS and will probably pick up the YSL at some point. The Armani is just too warm for me.

I have the lightest Armani luminous bronzer and I have to use a very light hand because it pulls yellow on me. And I can see glitter particles but I'm so pale, so everything shows up on me.
bronzer is my favourite makeup product, and I have been enjoying the Chanel sun kissed powder - hoping to get the YSL bronzer soon

I haven’t tried any of these, but I like the Fenty matte bronzer for its tone and smooth application. The tone of bronzer and formula is too importance, no orangey face for me. 😅 I would love to try YSL bronzer. Love the look of it on you today in video.

I opted for shade 110 in the Armani after seeing Tania’s review- even though it’s described as warm copper, I find it to have a more red undertone, which is by far my preference, as it is the way I naturally tan. I have to use a light hand, but I think you might prefer it to 100.

I have the rms but it just doesn’t last on me it’s disappeared in a hour in my skin I have beach walk betty I do like the formula though

The deepest Armani is not to deep for ur skin i have it and it looks great on basically its not the depth wise throughout the range its undertone i perfered the undertone of 120 it has the more neutral reddish undertone . I am about your skintone maybe alittle more tan, i live at th beach so i pick up alot of tan but i have seen it work on the fairest of skin with a lighter hand and it looked great .

Hi! Which shade of the rms bronzers would you say is most similar to Gucci in shade 2? I have tan lines and I just got rid of the Gucci one because it was just so pigmented I never reached for it. I preferred the shade over tan lines though because on my face it read more neutral. I was just curious if one do the rms shades is more similar to Gucci than tan lines. Thanks!

When I was growing up we called it cellophane tape. By the 80's we called it Scotch tape, for the brand that makes it. Did I hear you right you called it celly or selly tape?
Yes in the UK our brand of tape is called Sellotape, we do have the Scotch tape brand but sellotape is just what we call it - or selly tape x
Selfridges has an additional 2 0 % off on YSL. When you add anything to the cart, it knocks off another 2 0 %!!
So the quads show as £ 40 (marked down from the original £ 50), and then when added to cart, the price goes down to £ 32! And the bronzer is £ 28.8! 🎉
(don't think it works for the US, sorry)
