Did my last night of random clubbing with my wife and several friends all 35-42yrs old lol. It was a blast and I decided to hang up my Jersey that night at 40yrs old, left the clubbing on a high note!
However, that being said I totally understand someone my age or older just wanting to get lost in the beat and not at home but surrounded by the sounds and total strangers but dancing like its just you. ESPECIALLY if you just achieved something great, damn near impossible, or just reached a limit with life and need that moment. No judgement from me

I just turned 45 last week. This was a regular occurrence! Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights were the best. Everyone danced. No phones. Drinks were affordable.

You didn't care what anyone thought about you because the "X" was so pure nothing else mattered. But here was the awesome part, everyone around you was feeling the exact same way. No cell phones. No bull shit. No politics, religion, race or gender. Just pure love.

ya this music genre is like a mix of house and real "trance" with nice melody. I would consider it full trance if the tempo was higher. The original version and some of the other remixes are faster like that. This remix is my favorite though. The edit of the vocals is 110%

Same here. We probably crossed paths! lol. I lived in the Pocono’s and would take the bus to Dover, jump on the train. Head to scores to pick up a 100 bombs from this smokin dancer I met Stacy and it was on. She was so hot. I was 16. Bangin fake id from the west village. God I felt like I was unstoppable. That was 1999. I did that about every week until 2001. 911 changed things. Got caught with that ID and it was a serious charge. 911 changed everything. Anyways it was possibly the most fun time in my life. Being 16 and having the door opened at Scores was the best feeling. Like I was somebody. I’d chill for 10 mins or so and bounce. My mom never knew I was going to the city solo all those years.
I’m 51 and grew up in the Chicago scene…I still techno travel across the pond, Europe, and plan to hit Japan, and Argentina for amazing music and an underground music family that keeps the love and life happening…albeit, it’s a bit dampened by current circumstances…people in their 70s are hitting the same spots as 20-30 something’s…literally dancing the night away. I don’t do drugs or drink alcohol. Dancing and music feed life. 👌🏼🔊🎶❤️💪🏼✨

This is so evocative of the times I went clubbing in the '90's and just let myself lose myself in the music, ignoring everything and everyone else around me, not caring what I looked like, or, what (or if!) anyone else thought of me, not trying to pull, not doing any drugs, just feeling the music. Once I got on that dancefloor, that was it, until the music stopped and the lights came back on! Fantastic. Oh to be back there... Just wonderful and so freeing! What a time, what an era.
