Ya ever watch Ron lately. He’s wound so tight because he’s deservingly getting fired his long snapper can’t even snap. This kid feels like it’s all on his shoulders and Ron proves that during every interview, unlike EB Ron never takes ownership for anything. When you start missing Jay Gruden there are serious issues.
Let me say this first I do like Sam BUT i wish they had sat Sam down a couple a games early that way he could have seen what he been missing when he sees it from Jacoby view. I still think Sam not reading the coverage right, and he's not some what recognizing the defense either. Those are just a couple of issues I see
The clock in his head is too fast right now so he isn't given himself time to see it.
The defense and talent on offense is so bad Sam is the focal point of the other teams. He's our best player.
"We have to be better in the run game", well first and foremost you have to actually develop and implement a run game. Way too pass happy .
You need lineman that can actually run block as well. When was the last time you've seen any sort of hole anytime we ran the ball?
We need to get Jacoby back here next year, He is the best backup QB in the league!😮

EB will be the next HC. If that wasn't the case, he would have said I'm not going into all that. He knows he's got next. I'm happy about that. Give this dude full reigns

EB is going to be another Head coach for another team that Fox will add to the pool of former coordinators that were in Washington that went ahead and became a successful head coaches in the league. I can see the animation already when the day comes.... And everyone is going to pretend that they wanted him as the next head coach.... These fans in this area are such fools...

I could put EB on any single team and he would run the same offense.
Sam isn’t a starter yet. Anytime you have to design plays for the QB to get the ball out quick, get him out the pocket, or not dropping him back that means you don’t really have a quarterback yet. Jacoby came in instantly stood tall in the pocket and made the proper reads. Washington should definitely draft a QB to have a true competition!

I disagree heavily. I think with the complete flip of the defense becoming the worst it’s ever been mixed with a new system + terrible o line. With a young QB you have to hold their hand and it’s nothing wrong with that at all. Jacoby has been in this league these situations etc for years + it was kind of just go out there and do the best you can Jacoby. Another year in EB system we will see or hope to see the growth. Drafting another QB isn’t always the answer sometimes it’s better to try to get to stability

It's about time we hire from within. We always let our talented coordinators go have success with other teams. EB deserves a shot at Head Coach. He's has worked with the best from Adrian Peterson as the running back coach, Patrick Mahomes, and Sam could be next if we give him time to grow. We know he has talent. He has shown us this several times throughout the season. Allow both of them to grow together.
The offense has stunk, same numbers as Scott turner and he got fired
@@waxoncards2489 scott turner been trash since carolina.. rivera was the one who brough scott with him.. eb is a 2x superbowl champ that comes from a winning culture/organization.. the common denominator here is literally rivera. we have the 16th ranked offense in the league and 31st in defense.
Why didn't any media ask him about the 1yd line execution? It was over 2 min used to score a TD without using a T.O

Because he didn’t have Sam in there to do the bowling ball shuffle into the end zone. Plus, defensive starters went back in made it more difficult than when they were out and gave up easy TD.

The amount of leash they are giving Sam Howell is ridiculous, he's going to get 17 starts this season, and now there are some fans clamoring to give him 17 more next season? Pittsburgh is already thinking about moving on from Kenny Pickett, a first round pick, that's the difference between winning organizations and losing organizations, no player should feel that they have a "lock" on a starting role, you need to breed competition and players need to earn the right to play.

I feel bad for him bc he really came into a bad situation under a Ron led team. But there’s no excuse for taking a basically rookie QB and a very below average OL and making him throw more than anybody else in the league!! It’s honestly inexcusable. But I’d still give him at least 5 games next year before moving on from him
