Diving Philippines #21 Whale shark search from the air - Hans-Peter Endler

At the Pintuyan Dive Resort, the whale sharks are NOT fed, but are searched for and found with the help of spotters. The spotters keep their heads under water until they find a whale shark. But even if the whale shark swims only 1-2m below the surface and is close by, the spotter already has problems to see the whale shark. This can be seen clearly in the video.

Im Pintuyan Dive Resort werden die Walhaie NICHT angefüttert, sondern man sucht und findet sie mit hilfe von Spottern. Die Spotter halten den Kopf unter Wasser bis sie einen Walhai gefunden haben. Aber selbst wenn der Walhai nur 1-2m unter der Oberfläche schwimmt und gang in der Näht ist hat der Spotter bereits Probleme den Walhai zu sehen. Das ist gut zu erkennen im Video.
Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist die Walhaisuche aus der Luft. Schon mal eine Walhaisuche aus der Luft gesehen? Es ist fantastisch wie gut man die Walhaie und das ganze Geschehen aus der Luft aus sieht…
